Blogshelf
From ENWiki
Okay, here's what's up. This page is designed to be a guide to enworld blogs, something a little bit friendlier than just a list of random names.
Think of it like a bookshelf--you can browse around, read the back cover or dust jacket, and pick up a book that catches your eye.
If you've got a blog, add a short description of it--what sort of things you write about, why someone would find it interesting, etc. Don't forget to include a link.

The Blogs
ARScott's Blog
On my blog, you'll find:
- The Long Road, a session-by-session discussion of my current D&D campaign, in both planning and execution.
- Great Responsibility, the design diary for my 4e-based superheroes game, currently in the early planning stages
- Polycon, information about the real-life gaming organization that I'm involved with
- And Everything Else that strikes my fancy
Jürgen Hubert's Blog
On my blog, you will find:
Urbis - A World of Cities - a series of posts about the fantasy setting I am developing. Reviews - gaming reviews, especially of non-D&D books and how they might be useful for D&D games. And anything else that might be of interest to me and other gamers.
FireLance's Scattered Thoughts
FireLance's Scattered Thoughts contains:
House Rules such as Novice and Apprentice level characters; Skill Complications, an alternate skill encounter system.
Roll of Honor, a solo campaign for a paladin PC. Novice level adventure in progress.
Technomagicon - Occupational Skills - Crafting and Other Skills
The Technomagicon is a series of loosely connected products which experiment with the introduction of ideas and equipment from earlier and later time-periods into a fantasy setting. Other areas that may be covered include Firearms, Energy Weapons, Force Fields, Computers, Communication, Robots, and Vehicles.
Occupational Skills will detail skills ideal for non-heroic characters while offering options for Heroes that do not distract from of significantly enhance their encounter efficiency.

Charlesatan's Blog
Here's the link to my blog.
Every Thursday (I'm in the Philippines so this might be Wednesday evenings for you), I'll post a compilation of tabletop RPG podcasts.
Then over the weekend, hopefully I'll have a D&D 4E-related post.
Kaodi's EN World Blog
I cannot say for sure what my blog will entail, though most likely it will be rather... random. But I hope that in the future it may be found to be worthwhile.
Verdande's Fatespinning:
Aether Peak: My homebrewed campaign setting, with a strong focus on a fallen goblin empire and monsters that are more human than they appear.
House Rules: Simple tweaks you can feel free to steal, borrow, or whatever.
'Rediscovering AD&D': It's like going out with your first love all over again, only both of you are older and wiser than you used to be, and neither of you have any grudges.
Ashrem's Blog
Where I talk about D&D 4e, GURPS, my campaigns, and whatever else is on my mind. (link)
Elodan's Blog
On my blog you'll find:
- thoughts on my group's experiences with converting to 4E
- general D&D musings
- my thoughts on sci-fi/fantasy books, movies and tv
Asmor's RPG Software
My blog is really just a place for me to put my software creations. I like having them all in one place, instead of interspersed and quickly disappearing on the message boards. Probably updated infrequently, since each post is a new piece of software that I've written.
MichaelSomething's Blog
Since arscott has uber diplomacy powers, I'm posting here to add myself to his listing of blogs. Expect blog related activities there.
Radiating Gnome's Blog
My blog will contain regular updates from my "spellscarred isles" campaign (loosely set in the Moonshae Isles of FR, but I'm taking huge liberties with the setting based largely on a lack of adequate research), as well as my thoughts on the new system, which I think is great, and some special attention (at least in the short term) on Skill Challenges.
Jack99's blog
My blog will describe what happens in the campaign I run in Draegor, a homebrew world designed for D&D 4th edition. Aside from just telling about what happens, I am including "DM's notes", where I talk about some of the aspects of the game from my side of the screen.
It will probably also contain other random rants and musings on rules, designers and products related to D&D (4e mostly).
Wiktionary
my blog has my own personal gaming experiences/rants, of course. It'll also feature constant whining about hockey and my losses at poker.
Finally, it'll be a place for random game rules and add-ons that I've decided to work on, either for a campaign, or not.
Nerdronomicon Ex Dorkis
I'm planning to use my blog to record notes and ideas for the games I play with my friends, mostly Dungeons and Dragons, and hopefully for a new campaign. The players in my group just picked up fourth edition Dungeons and Dragons. I'm planning on using the new release as an excuse to try out some of my old ideas in a new campaign. I may end up letting my players know where this journal is so I can post notes and stuff for them, so anything I don't want a player to read will be posted behind a spoiler tag.
Thoughts of the Arch Chancellor
Thoughts of the Arch Chancellor will deal mostly with ideas on house rules and game design. Stuff I usually keep closed on my hard disk is now exposed for everyone to see and mock (hopefully actually to use and inspire more ideas.)
Maybe there will also be some reviews, or game play experiences, but I am not sure about that yet. (First, I'll have to see how often I actually post a new blog entry.)
SMerwin29's foray into WotC freelance
I have been a WotC contractor for a couple of years now, mostly administering campaigns for the RPGA. Recently, I have been doing design work for 4e products, as well as managing content for the RPGA's organized play campaign, Living Forgotten Realms. This blog will talk about my efforts in those areas and my experiences with 4e.
The Gemini Syndrome
My blog (when I occasionally post to it) will be about the split life that me and all of my friends seem to lead. It will examine married life, work, and every other facet that comes to mind. Overall, I want to look at the dual personalities us gamers are forced to assume in a world that is ignorant to our hobbies.
What The Warlock Thinks...
On my blog you'll find:
Thoughts on various aspects of gaming;
Intersections of gaming and life;
Opinions and preferences for game system (D20, True20, Omni, and Pathfinder, primarily), and how I'm making them work for my games;
Other varied interests as the mood strikes - primarily art, computers & technology, and writing.
The Fantasist
The Fantasist is a column about fantasy. It is a look at tropes and conventions. I'll spin on sources, giving variations designed to be used in roleplaying games. I am not sure of the total extent of what will be covered. After all, This is a topic that could span multiple books. I will try to update reasonably and as life dictates.
The Fantasist is not a column about a specific RPG. System is irrelevant in a discussion about burial rites, swordman's schools, or secret societies. Every article will make an effort to be equally usable if you play OD&D, 3E, 4E, True20, or GURPS.
Graf's Blog
I post on my blog about game related stuff that catches my eye. Right now it's talking about skills in 3.x vs 4e. I'll probably do something about monster design in 4e later.
I haven't a fancy title or a particular plan.
Dave's Gaming Blog
At my blog, you'll find my forays into game design (which are rarely more complicated than a tweaked class). D&D and Star Wars Saga - related for the most part, and new D&D stuff (as opposed to any old stuff I dig up) is likely to be 4e.
Eric Noah's Unofficial D&D Blah Blah Blog
I'll be using this space to gather my thoughts on a few D&D 3.x related topics/projects, including an in-depth exploration of cults and cultists in D&D, house rules, and pointers to resources I have found useful for gaming.
The Vault
Currently it's only some retellings of my game sessions and a link to my old blog on CM, which contains stuff on my erratic homebrewing efforts.
Except similar content here.
Crazy Monkey's Campaign Settings HQ
Crazy Monkey's Campaign Settings HQ features blog posts about my 3.5 and 4th edition D&D campaign setting, Paths of Legend.
Ramblings of the stonegod
Ramblings of the stonegod is my ENWorld blog full of D&D, Eberron, PbP, and generally stuff.
Psion's Psionic Sanctuary
At Psion's Psionic Psanctuary you'll find:
- My musings on game design and criticism and GMing philosophy
- More musings on the industry, licensing, and the open game movement.
- Reviews (at least until the real review page is up)
- Game material (mechanics and campaign notes) for D&D 3.5 and perhaps a few of my other favorite games (Spycraft, Spirit of the Century, etc.)
- No 4e stuff
Plane Sailings Harbour
At Plane Sailings' blog Plane Sailings' Harbour you'll find
- My 4e Storyhour notes (Keep on the Shadowfell)
- House Rules and game design thoughts
- Random musings
Selections from the Scrolls of the PlatinumWarlock
Found at [3]
Includes:
- Character journals of past play sessions, and game summaries.
- Reviews of "geek movies" and culture.
- Pictures and coverage of the Origins Game Fair
- Design notes for a new board game: "Dungeon Slam!"--still in production.
There are unquestionably areas which have been glossed over.
What is my blog? It is the Way, the Truth, and the Light. It is the Tri-Partite understanding of the Universe. It is the Secret inside your Heart. It is the Sound of Nirvana. It is the non-thought, non-reflection, non-analysis. It is All things to All people Everywhere. It is wherever you are and wherever you are not. It is the electric prod in the charlie horse factory.
Actually, it's a garbage dump for whatever I've drudged up to post lately. Mostly from old posts you can find in these very Forums.
Merric's Musings
Merric's Musings is a collection of writings from EN World's "Official" Optimist. Reviews, commentaries, session reports and random thoughts on all editions of D&D, D&D Miniatures, the Star Wars Saga RPG, Castles & Crusades and a number of other RPGs and boardgames.
