The Mechanics of Creating Traps
This is what I've pulled out so far...
Attacks Bonus
Attacks Vs. Armor: Trap Level + 5
Attacks Vs. Other: Trap Level + 3
Damage
If the trap consists of a weapon use the weapons's Damage. (Example Crossbow turret fires 2 crossbows, so 2d8.)
Probably safe to use the damage per level types as per monster guidelines for other types of attacks.
Attack Type
Target
Based on the attack type usually.
Perception Check DCs
Based on the level of the trap, and what the check results in.
Checks that give limited info Easy or Moderate DC.
Checks that give information on avoiding or dissabling the trap Hard DC.
