Fluff
Background
The Sun Dragonfolk of Allaria are all but forgotten, the sight of their shining reddish-gold skins a rarity these days. They worshipped Apoli, the Everburning Dragon of the Sky, and parents taught their hatchlings that they could channel His power through their fiery breath ("The Gift of Apoli"). They built towers dedicated to Apoli, their spires reaching to impossible heights in an effort to be closer to Him. They knew of the legend of the heathen Storm Dragonfolk, who refused the Gift of Apoli and were cursed to huddle in seaside caves. The Storm Dragonfolk were cursed to breathe an inferior fire -- that of storm clouds, which cannot compare to the power of the sun. The two races of Dragonfolk were not particularly friendly to each other. The Black Dragon god of the Serpent Men fought with Apoli, blocking His view of His children. In the darkness, the Serpent Men came and the Sun and Storm dragonfolk were forced to draw together to combat their common enemy in what came to be known as the Dragon Wars. The Sun folk swore an oath to combat the Darkness wherever they found it, but the war did not go well for them. Their towers fell, and only a few of them remain today. These temples to the Everburning Dragon of the Sky stand on mountaintops and other difficult-to-reach places. The insular dragonfolk in these temples teach the Way of Apoli and pass down the tales of the Dragon War generation after generation, weaving tales of the old Shining Empire of the Sunfolk, and telling how the world has fallen into Darkness. Occasionally a righteous young Sun worshiper heads out into the rest of the world, to fight the Darkness... Vrrsk't is one such righteous warrior.
Description: Vrrsk't is an imposing, muscular figure. His reddish scales can be seen protruding from his ceremonial plate armor, emblazoned with holy symbol of the Everburning Dragon, which is a sunburst with a dragon coiled inside. His shield features the same symbol, and the armor has a yellow and red trim. He wields a flail made from the preserved scales and teeth of those Sun worshipers who have fallen in the fight against the Darkness.
Personality: Vrrsk't is completely convinced of the rightness of his cause and the omniscience of his god, whom he can see with his own eyes every day. He rises each morning before sunrise to sing a welcoming hymn as Apoli rises to watch over the world, and he mourns Apoli's inevitable fall every evening with a minute of silence. He knows that he is not worthy to judge the innocence or guilt of those he fights and/or helps, so he trusts in Apoli to guide his fiery powers to either cleanse the wicked or warm the innocent.
Hook: Vrrsk't takes any weather phenomenon other than a bright, cloudless day as a portent of evil afoot somewhere. He will happily follow the slightest thread that seems related.
Kicker: Vrrsk't came to Daunton because the scholars have told him that the Black Dragon is resurgent and there will be another, brief Time of Darkness (eclipse). He thinks the key to preventing this event lies with the Serpent Men cult in and around the Transitive Isles.

Personality: Vrrsk't is a devout follower of Apoli. He feels that the fires of his patron will do the work for him in deciding who is worthy of being harmed or healed. He is not conscious of choosing between damage powers and healing powers; he channels his faith and lets the energy do the work.
Physical Description: Broad-shouldered, tall, reddish scales lighten to yellow at the tips.

Was Vrrsk't not having a background (mechanical) something done on purpose, or have I just missed it all together?
The Invoker multiclass, and thereby Sun Strike was a great pick up, very character appropriate, and filled your ranged basic! I'm impressed.
