  • D&D e-Tools: Unfortunately D&D e-Tools is no longer available. [1]
  • Metacreator: "By far the most versatile of Character Generation programs. It comes with support for several different RPGs including d20. Metacreator is full programmable with a built-in scripting language that make it possible to create custom character sheet formats and also allows you to add virtually any house rule. Due to the GSL, the decision was made not to add official support for 4e."
  • Modern System Character Generator "Quickly generate NPC stat blocks for modern d20 games, including most of RPGObjects' popular d20 modern RPGs: Darwin's World, Blood and Guts, Blood and Fists, and more."
  • D&D Character Generater Beta: The BETA version of the official character generator is out. Available only to D&D Insider subscribers, it covers characters from levels 1-3. "When we launch the completed Character Builder, it’ll have everything you need to build and level up your characters all the way to 30th Level—updated regularly to include content from every D&D rulebook and online magazine article. Right now, we want you to play around with what we’ve got set up for levels 1 to 3."

Available for both PC & Mac."
  • Interactive Dungeon: "The idea of Interactive Dungeon is to have a computer screen next to the gaming table, where players will be able to follow their progression through the dungeon. No more game time wasted in describing the room sizes and waiting for the players to draw it right. The Game Master, using the keyboard arrows, moves the party's point of view through the map.   • OpenRPG: "OpenRPG is an Internet application that allows people to play Role Playing Games in real-time over the Internet. OpenRPG is free, open source, software, distributed under GNU/GPL license."
  • Screenmonkey: "Looking to re-create that gaming table feel when playing traditional paper and dice RPGs online? Try ScreenMonkey v1.0! ScreenMonkey is a program GM's can use to moderate their online campaigns. ScreenMonkey can be used to play any traditional paper and dice RPG."
