Shatterscape
From ENWiki
The Shatterscape setting is a Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 campaign setting that is a shared-design environment, co-created by both the players and the dungeon master on EN World through play-by-post (PBP) gameplay. The campaign takes place in the world of Torrus, a land devastated many centuries ago by a child known as the Dreamer, who was able to make dreams a reality. Dreams and their power over the real world are a central element of the campaign.
In traditional roleplaying games, players are allowed to influence the campaign setting only so far as their characters' actions can affect the plot as designed by the dungeon master. However, in Shatterscape, the plot, setting, and important non-player characters (NPCs) may all be the original designs of the players should they wish. Accomplishing this is a simple matter of the player getting involved. Since much of the world remains to be detailed, a player need only write up a description for a dungeon, including plot hooks for getting to the dungeon and NPCs who might be involved in the dungeon or have a vested interest in its goings-on and then have his character express a desire to visit such a place. Although many of the specific details are left to the dungeon master once the characters arrive at the dungeon, such as the exact location of traps, monsters, and such, getting there can largely be driven by the players if they have the initiative to do so. In this manner, the players often have a much better sense of what is going on in the world around them, because they helped design it.
