Name: The Faithful Shield

Item Type: Armor

Description: The paladin Orran the Preserver wielded the original faithful shield, and more have been made since, with identical powers. This large shield is made of hammered and gilded mithral, and displays a stylized pair of angelic wings. The wielder of a faithful shield can use it as a +2 shield; in the hands of a paladin, with a command, it can cast shield of faith 3 times per day, and death ward once per day (also upon command). The faithful shield grants a paladin resistance as long as it is held.
