"Yes, I'm looking to sign up for a few classes. Something on using the Helm would be nice, and perhaps something about the nature of the magic of the Spelljamming ship."
"Ah yes. There were actually seminars on both Helmsman Training and the various sorts of Helms, but you missed them. There should be another on Helmsman Training tomorrow, but I'm afraid that there aren't any more on Helm types."
"Oh foo," Priya pouts. "Well, sign me up for that one, and are their on any on Spelljammer theory? How about general ship construction? Maybe even design?
"I see. Well if you want to enquire about charges, you should head to the legal offices where they keep copies of the transcripts of such things. As for prisoners, they do not have visitation rights under any circumstances except in the case of official diplomats representing their homeworld, and I know who those are for Tymadeau."
"Theory? Well, there's several Spelljamming basics seminars, but most of those were on earlier days, as they figured people would want to take them first. I think there may be one more smaller one. As for ship construction, I guess that may be the only class that nobody ever teaches. Well that and 'Secrets of Praetorian Weaponsmithing' perhaps," the man chuckles slightly, "Beyond the basics that everyone knows, the secrets flourishes put into Spelljamming ships are a carefully guarded secret of both cultures and even individual shipmakers. That's one reason that you see such a variety of ship types out there."
“Well, I suppose I’ll have to go find an official diplomat then...good day to you.”
*Fedowin, playing up his displeasure at being turned away, turns and heads away from the city guard headquarters towards where the foreign diplomats from Tymadaeu would be staying. Heading that way until he gets far enough away that he can duck around a corner and head back towards the convocation, not willing to risk the chance he may be identified by an official from his homeland...even for Bellangere. I guess I’ll just have to leave it to Alire, and see if she can sort it out if she comes back...after all, she got them into this trouble in the first place.*
"Well, there's lots of classes still, but there have been even more that are already over too. You seem interested in Spelljamming and Spelljamming theory, so maybe you would like the seminar on 'Astral Eddies' or the colloquium 'Racing Amidst the Stars', perhaps?"

"Who's Astral Eddie? Is he some famouse Spelljammer?" Priya asks seriously. "Racing amonst the stars? That sounds fun. Maybe they talk about modifying the ships."
"Yes, perhaps they do speak of modifications. It is a bit of a pity that you just missed the seminar on the different builds of ships, as it seems that this is of interest to you. As for Astral Eddies, I don't know exactly what they are myself, but the description here says 'Hypothetical shifts in the dimensional flux.'
*As Fedowin walks into the Hall of Galas, he notices a Sidhe woman leaning over and talking to the man behind the only desk with the list of classes and sign-up forms. Apparently they've been cutting down since the first day when they must have had at least four staff members manning this spot, perhaps because fewer people are signing up now for seminars.*
(OOC: Fedowin buys rooms in inexpensive taverns, hopping about as he searches for action, excitement, and loot)
"Ok, sign me up for Astral Eddie's class too then." Priya says. "And do you know who taught that class on ships? Maybe I can get them to do another one, or maybe get a private sessior or something."
*Fedowin makes he way over to the desk, placing himself in the woman’s eyeline if she decides to look his way as he waits his turn.*
“My, what a lovely vision, it seems my luck is changing for the better...” Fedowin remarks softly, a rakish grin on his face as he leans on the desk and looks towards the sidhe woman.
"Hold on. I can check that for you," he leans over and flips through a stack of papers. Just then, a man makes his way over to the desk and places himself just inside of Priya's line of sight as he waits his turn at the event registration desk.
“My, what a lovely vision, it seems my luck is changing for the better...” he remarks softly, a rakish grin on his face as he leans on the desk and looks towards Priya.
(OOC: Make out your next post to Priya and Fedowin )
OOC: no clue why I'm making this out to myself, RA told me to
The Sidhe woman turns back and smiles to the man, "Oh, did they have all the classes you wanted? I seem to have missed out." she says with a pretty pout.
“So far yes, I signed up for a few language classes and one on how to crew a spelljammer, but then I’ve been here since the convocation started. It’s truly a pity you’ve missed out, though I can’t recall seeing you around before and I wouldn’t forget so beautiful a woman, especially one with such an adorable pout,” Fedowin declares with a winning smile. “Oh, pardon me, I’ve forgotten to introduce myself, my wits must have been momentarily befuddled by your intoxicating beauty, I’m Fedowin and I’m at your service,” he says, finishing with a courtly bow.
Priya smiles at Fedowin, "Hi, I'm Priya. Language classes? It's kind of hard to learn a language in a day, so that must be rough. Apparently I just signed up for some class taught by Astral Eddie, I hope he's helpfull. Still, I guess it's what I get for coming late. Not too many voyages leaving Amaranthia when you want them I guess. Do you realy think I'm beautiful? Because if you do, you realy should see my sister, she got all the family looks. What other classes are you taking today? Do you have a ship yet? I'm sailing with Melody, and, well actualy she didn't tell me their names, but another two or three people, who I'm sure are quite interesting."
Amazingly she turns back to the registrar without skiping a beat "Did you need anything from me for the classes?"
*Waiting until Priya asks the man behind the counter her question, Fedowin tries to answer her questions in the order presented.*
“Well lovely Priya, it was language classes or not be able to understand my diverse companions most of the time without someone else translating, so I do what I must...you’re right, that they’re quite intense though.” Letting his gaze drift the length of Priya’s body, Fedowin continues. “Hmm, you know, I don’t believe for a moment your sister got all the looks...you are ravishing Priya...though if it is true, I feel I might just be struck blind if I ever meet her,” Fedowin declares an amused grin on his face. “You know, I think my next class is a Seelie language class, most fitting don’t you think with us meeting like this. I don’t have a ship myself, though as luck would have it I’m sailing with Melody too, and as coincidences go that is a most pleasant one indeed,” Fedowin asserts cheerfully, his green eyes sparkling with mischief as his trademark cheeky grin surfaces.
Priya smiles and blushes slightly, and amazingly seems to be at a loss for words.
Finaly, she says "Well, maybe I can give you some private lessons on the voyage then. Maybe you should sign up for Astral Eddie's class, it sound's exciting, and it might be fun to have a class with a ship mate."
“Private lessons...well they sound like fun, I’ll have to take you up on that,” Fedowin says with a wink. “Astral Eddie’s class...what’s that?” he asks, both to Priya and the man behind the desk.
"Oh, it was some theory or something. He wasn't sure himself, but it sounded like a lot of fun. Oh, I forgot exciting this could be," she says, bouncing up and down with a big grin.
Priya is dressed in a simple emerald green dress, with a burgandy cloak, her hair up in her circlet, and addorned with several other pieces of jewelry. She holds a quarterstaff as a walking stick with a pouch closed over the top of it.
“Well if it doesn’t conflict with my Seelie class I’d be glad to join you Priya,” Fedowin replies, grinning as he watches her bounce up and down.
*Fedowin wears finely woven clothing consisting of a white shirt, under a crimson vest, and slate grey trousers which are tucked into supple black leather boots, the ensemble covered by his midnight blue cloak. His wavy shoulder length raven hair is unbound. At his waist he wears a finely tooled black leather belt, which holds a variety of weapons and pouches. On his right hip he carries a elegant rowaini dueling cutlass with a heartstone in the hilt, on his left hip a matching blade with no stone, and several daggers on his belt.*
Turning to the clerk, as he manages to draw his eyes away from Priya, Fedowin asks, “Does this Astral Eddie’s class conflict with my Seelie language class?”
"Uh, no no. It isn't a class taught by a person named Astral Eddie. It is a class on Astral Eddies. Not that I know exactly what they are, mind you, but they are some kind of phenomenon according to the description."
"Oh, well, it still sounded like fun anyway. Get the both of us in if you can."
Priya turns back to Fedowin, "We can do private lessons of Seelee if you're interested later. As many as it takes, as long as it takes, I promise. It will be fun!" Priya's bright smile gleeming happily
“I will look forward to the private Seelie lessons then, Priya,” Fedowin beams delightedly, nodding to the clerk at Priya’s mention of signing them both up.
Turning to the clerk again briefly, Fedowin asks, “So what other classes, necessary to running a Spelljamming ship, are still on offer my good man.”
