(2) MultiRP: The shadowcaster will have max'd hide/move silent. So s/he can scout or the like, and keep behind Eli's charrie. Also, will make a rather pitiful'ish scout until Eli can change out charries.
(2) MultiRP: Pro: we save 5k in diamonds. Con: we lose an actual trapfinding scout for an indeterminate time.
(2) MultiRP: I would do tank'ish cleric, but BY I think is expecting Alex to die tonight, for the most part, and has a tank'ish cleric backup ^_^
(2) MultiRP: Given that he's between Whippy MsSadist, and Thuggy KillMyTeam Norris.

(2) MultiRP: To give you an idea, I have a mystery that I can use twice a day as a SLA (thrice a day as a Su Ability next level) that deals 1d6+(Lvl/4) Wis damage to someone. Will save for half.

(4) Thugdar: Me not like wisdom damage. It smash me.
(2) MultiRP: I also have Warp Spell, which allows me to succeed on a caster level check as an immediate action to counter the spell. And as I counter it, I gain a use of any apprentice level mystery I know (including that one up there). Which I can use in the same immediate action, or hold for up to one hour.
(2) MultiRP: Or, Mortus blasts something, I Echo it (with Echo Spell)

You decend the steps into a large chamber. The walls are tightly worked stone, again covered by the tiny vines and the slime. The slime pools on the floor to a depth of a few inches. The ceiling glows with an unearthly light of indeterminate source, casting the area in a sangreal hue. There is a closed door to the south. After the constant snap and hiss of the fires above, the room is deafeningly silent. The only sound that penetrates here is the slow drip of the slime from the ceiling.


(6) Isaac: (since I'm not sure if bless stacks with bard song)
** (14) Mortus finishes adjusting his magical energies for the day and stretches. **
(15) Hussar: (( it does not. ))
(11) Ithildae: "hm... I'll keep my clerical spells for now. Well... actually... I could just focus in combat instead now..."

The trip back to Serratine's chamber is uneventful. The walls drip with the sticky substance and the air smells of sea water.

(11) Ithildae: pulls an arrow against the string of the bow, starting to walk around and examine the area "Ugh. Can't wait to get out of here... already gives me the creeps... be back shortly."

The north wall of this large, vaulted chamber has been carved open by claws. Deep scoring marrs the floor and walls. Pulsing vines and ankle deep slime cover every surface in a twisting, silent riot. Four piles of vines rise from the floor of the chamber, scattered at random.


(14) Mortus: "I'm sniffing birth fluids?"
(6) Isaac: "wlel floats in.. but you get the idea."
(7) Tesil: "... what's a placenta?"
(6) Isaac: "yes.. yes you are."
(11) Ithildae: looks down at her arm ".... great. I hate this place..."

Suddenly the mass of vines shift and reveal a maw surrounded by inky black tentacles. They whip and writhe while behind them, almost invisible in the dim light, a trunklike body composed of more tentacles awaits.


(4) Thugdar: Dat kind of pork?
(6) Isaac: "placenta.. is the thing a baby gros in within the womb of a mother."
** (7) Tesil lifts up one foot from the liquic. **
** (14) Mortus grimaces. "You could've kept that information to yourself, master midwife.. **
