Mikes D&D Helpers Is A Small Executable (Exe) So No Installation Is Necessary (And best of all ,IT'S FREE) It Was Created With Visual Studio .NET And To Properly Use Town Generator You Must Have The .NET Framework Installed (Download Here (23.1 Mb)) Its A Big File But If You Don't Have It Already Installed, You'll Probably Have To Install It Sometime In The Future Because Almost Everything That Microsoft Is Putting Out Now And In The Future Requires Or Uses It In Some Way. Also If Any Of You Visual Studio .NET Programmers Out There Want To Improve Upon Town Generator Just Email Me And We Can Get Together And Sling Some Code Around And See What We Can Come Up With.

Town Generator

Please Pick A Town Size And Racial Mix From The Two Drop Down Boxes, If You Choose Custom From Either Boxes Then Go To Options And Set The Values You Wish To Use, Or Choose Random Generation (Randomly Picks Size And Racial Mix)
Epic Generation Uses The Updated Rules In The Epic Level Handbook (Produces Higher Levels, Gp Limits, And Total Gp) Otherwise It Uses The Standard Rules In The DMG. In The Options Section, You Can Set The Minimum And Maximum Base. Levels Generated (Always Modified By Level Modifier) To Set Custom Racial Percentages (Choose Custom In The Race Box Then Set Custom values, Also Remember To Enter Percentage Divided By 100 As The Value (Example: 95% = 0.95, 10% = 0.1, 25% = 0.25, Etc...) To Set Custom Town Values (Choose Custom From The Town Size Box Then Set Values), Extra Rolls Represents The Number Of Times To Roll Npc\Pc Levels And Power Centers

Dice Roller

Number Of Dice To Roll is self explanatory, Each die modifier is what is added or subtracted from each dice rolled, Final Total Modifier is what is added or subtracted from the final total of all the dice, Custom Roll allows you to roll almost any kind of die you could think of (1d7, 1d31, 1d1000, etc.)  options also apply to this roll also

Experience Calculator

Input each Npc/ Pc level and how many in the NPC And PC Levels Section, Then enter the CR and How many of that CR into the boxes, and repeat for different CR's, Then just press calculate and it will give the experience for each CR, and give a grand total of experience (going to add Encounter Level Calculator and Individual experience awards later). Only handles experience up to 20 levels higher or lower than CR. Also for right now it will not figure out Cr's less than 1

Skill / Hp Calculator

Skill: put in INT modifier, How many points per level for ONE class, skill points per level for ONE class, and total level for ONE class, then press calculate. Main class equal what you should have for your main (starting) class, secondary class equals what you should have for a class taken after your Main (starting) class (must have correct level, points, and mod entered for this class).

Stat Calculator

Enter stat, if figuring strength then pick npc, pc size, then press calculate. Only handles stats between 10 and 100

Jump Calculator

Enter the Npc/Pc speed in the speed box, and the D20 check (with modifiers) into the check box, if Npc/Pc has the run feat then put a check in the Run Feat Checkbox, there a few output boxes not on the list in the DMG (text in bold is in the PH).

Misc Calculator

Exp& level based misc, gives the current levels max skill points, cross class skill skill points, how many ability increases, how many level based feats, etc....Triangulation calc figures how far an object/ opponent is away, useful for 3rd dimensional combat situations
