You didn't answer her question if they were adventurers
Which of the following temples would Kel prefer: Siamorphe, Waukeen, Shaundakul, Gond, Valkur, or Sharess

RA, I think he'll probably head for the nearest one (that he thinks will sell healing potions.) Personally, I'm not familiar with any of these gods, so I'll be guided by you.
BTW, I listed him as following Oghma, as god of learning (?), but it's unlikely that he would have learned about a god that doesn't have a local presence - although he might have been captivated by the stories of a wandering worshiper, or cleric. Would one of the others present in the town be a good choice, given his interest in learning?

Has he been to the temples much? Regardless, I've rolled him some Knowledge: Religion checks. Oooo, looks like he rolled a 1 on the first and easiest one, but thanks to Knowledge: Local, he knows that Siamorphe's temple is the biggest and fanciest, but he has no clue of what Siamorphe is the deity (or even Siamorphe's gender ). Fails Waukeen on a 3...Okay, made all the other checks with flying colours--too bad he didn't have a rank or he would have gotten the DC 20 stuff instead of being limited to DC 10: Shaundakul is a god of wanderers, Gond is a god of craftsmen, Valkur is the god of sailors and ships, and Sharess is the goddess of lust and pleasure.
Gond and Valkur are probably both closest, and Siamorphe's temple is farthest.

There is a shrine to Deneir, god of runes and scrolls, which also houses a smaller shrine of Oghma. It isn't really a temple with priests and stuff, but travelling priests sometimes visit there. None of the gods of Thresk supports learning all too much--it isn't really a city of learning
RA, seeing as we had already discussed the possibility that Kelloran had learned a few things about ships and sailing from the passing trade, I'll assume that he's also heard a sailor or even a visiting cleric speaking of Valkur. Now, seeing as he knows a little about Valkur, he'll probably assume that sailors would have need of healing at times - after all, those ships can be dangerous places to be! - and so I think he'll head over there to try and get some healing for the party.
Now, you and I both know that potions are expensive, but I would assume that he would see 10 gp as a huge amount of money, and that, therefore, 10 gp would be plenty to buy some healing. He's got 48 gp in all from the party, so I'm going to throw in a whole 10 gp of his own (normally he wouldn't dare to carry any of his own cash around the Armpit but he's just desperate enough to try it) - which would give him the princely sum of 58 gp to take to the temple. I really hope that'll be enough.
***
From your comments, I'll leave his deity as Oghma, and assume that he's heard just enough from visiting clerics to whet his appetite for more - particularly if said clerics have a tendency towards intellectual argument. (Although the gods know what any self-respecting cleric of Oghma would be doing in the Armpit - field research, perhaps?)
Checking that his purse is securely fastened, tied to his belt, and tucked inside his tunic, Kelloran ducks out of the tavern and runs at top speed to the temple of Valkur. He reasons that sailors work at a dangerous profession, and must surely be in need of healing on a fairly regular basis, and so Valkur's temple would be a good place to ask for healing for the party. Besides, it's the closest temple to the Armpit.
*Kelloran heads off to the docks, a confusing warren of alleys and warehouses, plus the harbour itself, but eventually, by asking directions to double-check, he reaches the Temple of Valkur, the Captain's Bastion, which looks a bit more like a big, fancy sea shanty than a temple.*
*Shan catches a quiet female voice to the side, and his head turns to regard the girl who has spoken. She would probably be considered a rare beauty if she ever had the chance to wash off all the grime that coats her, free herself of all the bruises from overeager patrons and staff, and dress in something more than the ragged maid/waitress 'uniform' that is her only set of clothes. As it is, she is still a decidedly pretty young woman, which in a place like this causes her to receive undue attention, which on a good night might lead to extra tips, but on a much-more-likely bad night leads to physical and/or sexual assault.*
"My name's Mara. I'm going to help you to your rooms and make sure you are safe, okay?" she asks a bit meekly, but follows up with a smile that brightens up her face.
*Kelloran enters the temple, where he sees a large fountain, with a splashing font of water spilling out into a miniature replica of the Sea of Remorse in the middle of a large room with seven doors spaced in a circle around it, plus the entrance he just traversed. A good number of men and the rare woman in sailor's clothing are engaged in a variety of activities, including kneeling and praying before a shrine in the back of the circular room. Others, in slightly fancier sailoresque clothes and wearing silver pendants of a shield emblazoned with a cloud and three lightning bolts.*

Kelloran goes up to one of those wearing a silver pendant and asks, "Excuse me, sir - are you a cleric of Valkur? I have been sent to find healing for some who lie dying of their wounds - wounds they received trying to defend a woman attacked by an evil spellcaster. Can you help me, sir?"
Kelloran attempts to look wide-eyed and innocent. He doesn't, however, have to counterfeit his urgency.

"Peace, mate, I'll take a look at them, and perhaps the Captain of the Waves can bless them with the sea's healing spray, if you will be so kind as to give a donation to our cause? I'll heal as much as I can, so 40 gold sounds about right."

"Yes. Thank you." *Shan gives her a slight bow of appreciation, glad to find that not all here are the like of Dethar.*

"Oh, thank you, sir. Will you come with me? The inn is not far. There are four brave folk who have been gravely wounded in the fight. They are near to death, and need the healing spray of the sea."
"Let me give you some gold as a token of my good faith. Here's 10 gold pieces. I would trust you straightway with the rest, but the good people I serve have charged me to bring them healing, and for their sakes I must be cautious."
"Will you come, good sir, and bring the blessing of the Captain of the Waves?"
"Four is it, do you say? Well, with that many, I shall not be able to restore them all to full health, but I can guarantee that I can at least stabilise their conditions and help on the path of recovery. I shall follow you, little mate."
Without another word, Kel rushes off, intent on fulfilling his mission of mercy. Not hesitating now in his choice of route, he makes good time, waiting only for the cleric to catch up if he pulls too far ahead.
"Shbubilubphlugananol," mumbles Blunt in a restless state of unconsciousness.

"I'm... not really. I'm doing what I can to help people, which can be adventurous enough at times," Shan smiles weakly and draws attention to his current state and the elf in his arms, "but I'm not out exploring ruins and the like if that's what you mean."
OOC
So, what's the situation really? Kel and Dethar got ahead of my slow pace and I'm walking towards the rooms with Mara?
"Oh...okay. You see, my father...he was an adventurer," having gotten all three of the unconscious bodies to their appropriate rooms, Blunt and Titus in one and Sulannus in the other, Mara stops to wait between the two doors for Shan to catch up.
OOC
Mara is helping you bring everyone up to the two double rooms.
*Mara continues to wait in the same place, where she can see both doors at once.*
"Oh...I'm sorry. Are you waiting for me to continue? Well, there isn't much more to say. He died when I was very young, and my mother was never quite the same...Eventually, she sickened and died as well, leaving me all alone..."
*Kel arrives with the cleric to find Mara standing outside the two rooms and looking this way and that. She seems perturbed by the rushing noise, but when she sees it is Kel, she smiles.*
"Where are the injured folks, lad?" the priest asks.

Now, Kel would know the answer to this. I made a mistake, thinking we were further down the track than we were. There's no way he would have rushed off without seeing them into their rooms - not when he was taking such pains to keep them safe. Still, you have played on, so I'll live with it. However, because I would never read sblocks not addressed to me - hmm, trying to find a smilie that indicates "no, really, it's true but I'm not peeved or anything" - I don't know what he would know. But, given that Mara is standing outside a pair of rooms, I'll take a guess.
"They're in here, sir."
As he leans forward to open the door, he smiles at Mara and says, "Thank you so much, Mara. Was there any trouble?"
"No, no trouble at all. I talked to the paladin a little bit and then he went to sleep. Zaltan still isn't back yet, even."
*The priest looks in the room that Kel indicated.*
"I see an elf girl and a man in armour. Did you say there were four? Shall I use my two more powerful benedictions on them or is there someone who needs it more?"

"The warrior is their leader, sir. Please heal him."
Kelloran frowned briefly, as the thought flashed through his head, "Even though he would probably ask for healing for the others first."
"Then perhaps one of the men in the next room - the one who bears a blade?"
"A sword would be more useful than a bow here in the corridors of the Armpit."
*After collecting the money, he heals each of the four injured, healing Shan twice. Their wounds heal and knit a bit, but they are still in haggard condition.*
"Well, they'll all be fine, eventually, but they won't be stirring for a while, not with those wounds. You'll want to look after them, little mate--if they have someone tending their wounds, they will recover sooner...The elf in particular will be in a coma for some time until she manages to pull herself away from the brink of Arvandor, without additional healing anyway...If you can bring her to the temple and have 10 more gold to spare, my mates can see to her, though, if you like."
OOC
Shan regains 2 from CLW and 1 from CmW for a total of 3, still unconscious at -6.
Titus regains 8 from CLW, still unconscious at -2.
Sulannus regains 1 from CmW, still unconscious at -10.
Blunt regains 1 from CmW, still unconscious at -4.

"Oh, but ... but they're still all unconscious. Sir, what can I do? The woman they were defending has been abducted - and they are her only hope of rescue. I must find more healing for them as soon as possible. I said I would help ... and ..."
Here, Kelloran looks intently at the cleric and, encouraged by his apparent kindness, confides, "... and this isn't the safest place for them to stay."
"If I could pay you the same fee again, would you come back here tomorrow morning and pray again to the Captain of the Waves for them? I think I can keep them from harm until then."
Kelloran walks with the cleric to the door of the inn - just to make sure that he isn't waylaid by Dethar - then hurries back to speak to Mara.
"Mara, thank you again for helping me. The sea cleric said that he would come back tomorrow morning, so I'll have to keep an eye on the strangers until then. I'm not sure how I'll manage it - with the evening crowd, and all. Would you be able to help out again - just keep an eye open?"
"Mara, you said you spoke to the paladin. What did he say? Was it anything that would help?"
"I can try again...I'm just lucky Zaltan isn't back yet or he'd have bitten my head off over not being down in the common room yet..."
"Oh, the paladin? Well, he was sort of hedging over whether or not he was an adventurer, mostly. Aren't adventurers exciting? You knew my da was an adventurer, right? I can't remember if I ever told you that."

"No, Mara - you never did. What did he do? What sort of adventurer was he? No, wait - before you tell me - you and I should work out some sort of system. We both need to be down in the common room, and soon - but maybe we can make sure that only one of us is there at a time. The other one can be up here, keeping watch."
"I'll take first watch here, while you go down to the common room. Then, when you can, slip out and come up here and I'll take over down there. But we'd better not be up here for too long at a time, or the others will be suspicious. Maybe no more than 5 or 10 minutes at a time. Whew! It's going to be a long night."

"Uhh...I guess that system sounds good."
"My da? Well I don't know much about him. He died fighting against the forces of evil when I was only two. My ma was never the same, and soon later, she caught ill and died too...With no one left, well, that's how I wound up at a place like this...No one but an orphan with nowhere else to go would ever work our jobs, I think..."

"You're right - Zaltan only gets away with it because he thinks we don't have any way out. Say, Mara - you don't think we could find a way out, do you? Maybe with these people?"
Kelloran looks at Mara - sees her beautiful face; sees, too, the bruises and the tension and fear threatening her enchanting smile - and knows that the same fear, the same marks of abuse are in his own face.
"Mara, why don't we? We've helped these people. Maybe they could help us!"
"Because...because there's nowhere to go. They could take us out, sure, but then we'd just be on the streets again...We just have to try to make the best of what we have, I guess..."
"Thanks for the thought, though, Kel...I'll go to the common room now I guess..."
"Mara, let me know if Zaltan turns up. I have to get to him, to pay for the rooms, before Dethar does."
Kel looks with regret at Mara as she goes downstairs, then settles himself in the shadows at the corner of the corridor to keep an eye on the adventurers' rooms.

Kel will stow all but the 4 gp for the rooms in an inaccessible spot on his anatomy. That way, if Zaltan frisks him, he won't find any more than the room fee on him.
*After about ten minutes, Mara comes back upstairs.*
"Zaltan still isn't here...I was supposed to come upstairs now, right Kel?"
Kelloran smiles as Mara comes towards him. He moves forward, nodding to her, and then, as an afterthought, opens each of the doors in turn to check on the party before going downstairs to serve in the bar for the next 10 to 15 minutes.
