Regarding the Mass Effect ENnies Nomination
Thank you to everybody – both publishers and fans, as well as artists – who took the time to reach out to us about the fan-created Mass Effect RPG nominated for three ENnies this year. The judges nominated this product in good faith, and judged it solely on its quality. Below we detail how we intend to change that process to avoid similar errors in future.
Congratulations!
You can read the list of ENnies nominations for 2015 here. In the meantime, I put together a little "congratulations" card using my elite skills with MS Paint and Google Image Search. Congratulations, all, and good luck!

Game Master Tips from Wil Wheaton

As you probably know by now, Wil Wheaton hosts the new RPG web show, Titansgrave: The Ashes of Valkana. In it, he runs Green Ronin's Fantasy AGE roleplaying for a group of celebrity friends. What you might not have known is that each week he gives a gamemastering tip, hosted by popular website The Mary Sue. There have been two so far - the first about getting players invested in your world, and the second talks about character arcs.
Pious Guards, Dancing Girls, and Ghoul Cultists form the Rusty Dragon Inn
Last week I showed some images of Paizo's upcoming Rusty Dragon Inn miniatures set. Those included a frost giant and a mounted orc; this week let's take a quick look at some of the more ordinary inhabitants of the inn. We have a Dancing Girl, a Pious Guard, and a Ghoul Cultist. The set is a 51-piece set in the usual configuration of boosters and cases.

Sean's Picks of the Week (0622-0626) - Savage Praxis, Vampire, Angels for Pathfinder, and More!

I gotta run out the door to run my first Prowlers & Paragons: Modern Gods game tonight, so let's get right to it!
TRAILseeker #18: Bow & Rival
Exclusively for TRAILseeker patrons! This article introduces two new NPCs designed specifically to take part in archery contests as introduced in the TRAILSeeker Archery Contests article. These NPCs are well suited to serve as rivals, spanning a number of competition sizes. Each entry details the type of contests that each NPC would find attractive, coupled with suggestions on how they would approach the contest. For players and GMs alike, each NPC also introduces a new ranged combat-themed magic item which expands the options available for both thrown weapons and traditional archery. By Jerall Toi, illustrated by Xanditz.
EN5ider #22: The Art of Peace
Exclusive for EN5ider patrons! In a world of violence and vicious magic, monks of the Shifting Flow and the Watchful Gate audaciously dream of peace. The Art of Peace introduces two new monastic traditions, the all-new Envoy background, and 8 maneuvers for monks who value their karma. By Josh Gentry.
Nominate yourself as a 2016 ENnies Judge
It’s that time again! It’s time to nominate yourself for a spot as a 2016 ENnies Judge. You have until 11:45 pm CDT on Thursday July 2nd to fill out the form. Good luck! ENnies judges must be 18 years of age and not have any professional relationship with any RPG publisher between Jan 2014 and Aug 2016. ENnies judges are responsible for reading hundreds of RPG products and selecting five nominees for each category.
ENnies 2015 Fan Favorite Nomination
Time to nominate your favorite publisher for the 2015 ENnies Fan Favorite Publisher. Please check the running list of nominees before submitting your own nominations. Your favorite publisher(s) may already be listed. If not, you may input up to 6 publishers to nominate them for Fans' Favorite Publisher. You can nominate a Publisher until 11:45 pm CST on Thursday, July 2.
Crediting Contributors
EN5ider has a new layout designer, and a new art director. The layout designer, Eric Life-Putnam, you may recognise from his critically acclaimed work creating the ZEITGEIST layout. We've been talking about how to present credits for EN5ider articles. Along with paying fair amounts, and allowing creators to keep their copyright, and not using work-for-hire contracts, this is our proposal for a new credits block. Before, the author was credited on the first page, and everyone else on the last page. Now we're proposing this, acknowledging that the illustrator, editor, and layout designer are *equally* important. What do you think? This style of credit will appear on the front page of every 2,000 word article, rather than the last page (although the writer always appeared on the front page).

Mike Mearls Talks (er, Tweets) About the Industry

I think history has proven Mike wrong. The problem is that D&D isn't a game. D&D is a framework...
28 New Community Resources For Your D&D 5E Game!
Welcome to the latest edition of my D&D fan creation compilation, where I scour the web so you don't have to. And then get mean emails from people whose stuff I didn't see. Anyway, this time I have a 40-page adventure, a new fanzine, random mundane treasure, a way for rogues to be James Bond, and a whole new take on alignments. Enjoy!

TITANSGRAVE Episode 3 - Danger at the Market

It's Tuesday! That can only mean one thing... well, it can mean lots of things. Like it's my birthday in 3 days. But in this particular case it means that there's a brand new episode of Titansgrave: The Ashes of Valkana, starring Wil Wheaton as he runs a game of Green Ronin's Fantasy AGE for his celebrity players. "The Beer Baron and Keg-E bid farewell to the party after considerable celebration and revelry. In an attempt to learn more about their mysterious orb, the group heads to Nestora in search of Farkiah the Antiquarian. Excited for an opportunity to bargain, barter, and more importantly, shop, the heroes quickly head to the market district, but they soon find that it holds more than goods. What does the city-state have in store for our heroes? Tune in to find out."
Social Duels & Dual Identities: Playtest Pathfinder's ULTIMATE INTRIGUE
The official playtest for Ultimate Intrigue, 2016's upcoming 256-page Pathfinder RPG hardcover, is now open. This book includes the new vigilante base class, which focuses on the twin roles of social encounters and adventuring and is able to adopt two identities at once. The book includes social duels, heists, an influence system, along with the expected archetypes, spells, feats, and gear.
Official SAGE ADVICE Compendium, Spell Lists, & Errata
WotC has just posted three useful documents. The first is a compendium of Jeremy Crawford's Sage Advice questions and answers; the second is a compilation of spells plus new versions of the class spell lists; and the third is the latest version of the Player's Handbook errata document. "Like any heavily used system, the D&D rules undergo ongoing analysis, and occasionally, we like to pause and provide new resources for their current state."
Green Ronin's BLUE ROSE Kickstarter Is Here
Green Ronin has launched the Kickstarter for the new edition of its Blue Rose RPG. The Blue Rose game uses the Adventure Game Engine, which is the rule system behind Dragon Age, Fantasy AGE, and Titansgrave. It's a game which categorizes itself as "romantic fantasy", and focuses on complex and diverse character motivations; it is also being used to highlight inclusion in the tabletop gaming hobby.
Paizo's RUSTY DRAGON INN
The upcoming Pathfinder Battles miniatures set is called The Rusty Dragon Inn. The tavern-themed set includes not just bartenders and NPCs, but a number of monsters and fighty humanoids. This preview looks at the Guard, the Frost Giant Ice Mage (it's a tightly themed set, clearly!), and the Mounted Orc Rider on Dire Wolf. It's a big tavern!
Volumes of Forgotten Lore: Arcane
Exclusive to EN5ider patrons! From veteran author Ari Marmell (Drow of the Underdark, Tome of Magic, The Goblin Corps, Thief's Covenant) comes this look at new player options for the bard, sorcerer, and wizard. The Bardic College of Names, the Dread sorcerous origin, and the Shadowcaller tradition for the wizard make up this first chapter of forgotten lore.
TABLETOP GAMING Magazine
There's a new print magazine for tabletop gaming called, appropriately enough, Tabletop Gaming. It's available here in the UK (I'm not sure if it's available internationally) in WHSmith, Forbidden Planet, some gaming stores and other other locations. It's board/card game focused, with the first issue looking at X-Wing, Dropzone Commander, first looks at the upcoming Halo and Terminator boardgames, plus reviews of well-known titles like Ticket to Ride, Lords of War, and XCOM: The Board Game.
