The North Sea Epilogues RPG + Raiders Play Mat by Shem Phillips
(Campaign Ends : Friday 28th September 2018; 02:00 UTC)

I’ve been a big fan of Garphill Games’ North Sea Trilogy of board games since playing Raiders of the North Sea a few years ago. When it was announced, earlier this year, that creator and designer Shem Phillips had teamed up with Dice Up Games to create a roleplaying game based on the series I was, unsurprisingly, very interested and backed this campaign as soon as it was launched.

“As with the board games, Epilogues is based loosely in history. While heroes won't be fighting ice giants and other mythological creatures, they may still believe in such beings and unworldly forces. To make the game as easy as possible to learn and play, we have written the book a lot more like a board game rulebook. The front half of the book covers all the mechanisms, rules and information for building a campaign. We have saved the back half of the book for a fully-fledged introductory campaign and a series of adventure modules, written by a variety of talented authors. Here you will find a lot of theme and inspiration for creating your own stories within the world we created for the series of board games.”

The core rulebook is a full-colour 120-150 page hardcover book. The page count may increase through stretch goals as additional adventures are added to it. The core rulebook also includes a Hero Sheet and GM Sheet, which will also be available as PDFs. A separate, gorgeously illustrated, GM Screen is also available in higher tiers, as well as an add-on purchase. In addition to the RPG material the campaign also offers a Raiders of the North Sea Play Mat for fans of the board game.

After raiding and exploring the North Sea with the acclaimed board game series, the time has come to journey deeper into the world as a Viking warrior in The North Sea Epilogues roleplaying game. Create heroes and set out to battle enemies, uncover mysteries and gain reputation. The possibilities are endless and the North Sea is waiting. So ready the longboats and prepare to forge an exciting and epic saga!

Dystopia Rising: Evolution Tabletop RPG by Richard Thomas
(Campaign Ends : Friday 21st September 2018; 17:59 UTC)

“No one knows how long it's been since the world was blasted with nuclear radiation and became infected with the undead. Major cities were all but destroyed; transit is reduced to animals, wagons, and the occasional iron horse. The survivors of the Fall were the first strain of deviation from the human condition and were able to make it through the rapidly spreading epidemic.

Humanity has just started to rebuild, but large sections of the world are still irradiated or completely overrun by the undead. Small communities come together in a world where the concepts such as "democracy," "freedom," and "government" are newly reborn. Finding a community of decent size in this world is rare; finding one that has any concept of equality or morality is rarer still.

Oh, and people have the unnerving ability to come back from the dead, regrown from the very virus that destroyed the world.

This is dystopia. The world is broken. It is up to you to pick up the pieces and make a new world from the remains of the old.”

Dystopia Rising: Evolution is the latest edition of the Dystopia Rising tabletop RPG which has also been very popular on the live-action circuit. Onyx Path signed a license to produce the new edition of the game and, through this already success Kickstarter, are going to be publishing a full-colour 250+ page hardcover core rulebook, as well as a series of supplements.

Onytx Path’s Storypath system (d10 dice pool) is powering the game, and the core rulebook will include “all the rules you need to play as a survivor in the post-apocalypse, including rules for creating characters for up to 24 different Strains, variations on humanity that survived the Fall. It also has details on the powers of faith and psionics, along with advice on running action-adventure stories, webs of personal intrigue, or procedural investigations. And, finally, dozens of antagonists, including a variety of zombies and raiders to use in your series.”

Jungle Tomb of the Mummy Bride by Levi Combs
(Campaign Ends : Tuesday 2nd October 2018; 02:00 UTC)

The Jungle Tomb of the Mummy Bride is a 5th Edition adventure for character levels 5 to 7 from Planet X Games. The adventure is “an old school, grindhouse-style combination of classic role playing adventure and devilishly-designed dungeons cram-packed with b-movie goodness to challenge even the most seasoned of adventurers. It’s a module that could only have been made in the primitive jungles of man… where life is cheap!”

Tales of the cursed pyramid and the sleeping tomb of the Mummy Bride have long been a traveler’s tale, passed along by wayward explorers and greedy plunderers alike. Deep within the verdant jungles of the south, amidst a Green Hell of impenetrable jungle, savage cannibals and ancient myth, lies the shattered remnants of a once-powerful civilization and the terrible gods who ruled over them. Rumors swirl of untold riches and un-plundered magic for those brave (or foolish!) enough to claim it. Will your players survive… and what will be left of them?

Jungle Tomb of the Mummy Bride is designed for a group of player characters who are levels 5-7, but is easily scalable for higher level challenges. If slappin’ down old school monsters, climbing through ancient, forgotten places and seeing what lies beyond the secret door behind the glowing altar is your kind of thing, then you’re in the right place. We’re excited to take you back to a time when the simplest things in life were worrying about making your saving throw against a death ray, avoiding falling in that 50’ pit or killing some slobbering, evil monster before you plundered all of its sweet, sweet loot.

Adventurers’ Atlas Sci-Fi Tiles #1: Desert Outpost by Matt Francella
(Campaign Ends : Wednesday 26th September 2018; 12:11 UTC)

Supplying over 50 tiles for use in Sci-Fi gaming, this collection is available in a variety of electronic formats – including printer-friendly PDF and VTT friendly files.

The book contains several different types of tiles. Some are actual standalone buildings, some buildings are furnished, some aren’t; Some are blank terrain pages that you can cut into whatever you need, while other blank terrain pages are preshaped, and also feature walls. To populate the empty terrain and buildings several pages of objects, with different terrain backgrounds are provided. Some artistic modifications have been made to light and shadowing, giving the tiles an “evermotion” visual effect, which will make the tiles much easier to rotate without there being discrepancies in lighting.

The tiles depict EVERYTHING you will need to have a meaningful action packed, plot-filled adventure: Houses, Hideouts, Bars, Shops, Security Stations, and Spacedocks!

Deck of Magical Mystery: Tier 4, 5E Compatible by Ralph Levi Clark
(Campaign Ends : Tuesday 25th September 2018; 22:45 UTC)

The Deck of Magical Mystery returns for a fourth appearance on Kickstarter. This time we’re treated to a deck of 54 unique magic items for character levels 17-20 for 5th Edition, completing the set that first begun back in February this year.

The three previous decks (Tier 1 for Levels 1-4; Tier 2 for Levels 5 to 10, and Tier 3 for Levels 11-16) are all also available to pick up in this campaign, so if you missed the earlier campaigns that’s an easy solution if you wanted to get the complete set of four decks in one go.

Each card features its own custom art depicting a fully customized magic item on the front, with a full description on the back.
