Early on there were two - DEFENSE, and MENTAL DEFENSE. Then there were three - MELEE, RANGED, and MENTAL, and so it meant MELEE and RANGED. Now there are four, but it still means MELEE and RANGED. It's a little historical remnant which could probably be done away with.

It's a good question, and something which completely slipped through playtesting! I would, on reflection, say that immunity overrides vulnerability, so you'd end up immune to both.

See Burst attacks on page 99. Area attacks use a single attack roll (in this case AGI (throwing) or similar) vs VITAL DEFENSE of all targets, and a single damage roll. Otherwise it is resolved just like any other attack roll.

It's not like a car. It's much more subjective and much more of an art. You can directly and objectively measure a car's horsepower or weight, but you can't do that with an RPG. I don't think anything can substitute for actually trying the thing. All the graphs in the world won't give you a sense of how you feel when you play the game.

Fantasy author Terry Pratchett has died aged 66 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. "The world has lost one of its brightest, sharpest minds," said Transworld Publishers' Larry Finlay. Sir Terry, best known for the Discworld series, wrote more than 70 books over his lengthy career. He was first diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2007, but continued writing, completing his final book last summer. In Remembrance Terry who? Don't think I've ever heard of her? Or him? :.-( A sad day.

What a way to go on your final day of work....;) Well, some actors will kill for a good death scene in their careers; he certainly got his. I see people elsewhere on the interwebs are getting bent about the Jamie/Cersei scene. I'm not sure why. Yeah, it was sick and twisted, but hardly the worst thing in the series so far. Perhaps I could agree that there is too much gratuitous shock value, but I doubt that will abate. With the books compressed into the series, the buffers between shocks have been cut out.

Just saw that...had a busy day.No excuses!!! And the descriptions are different..;)He has a clip, but in any case, since there are now more replies in this thread, I'm going to stick with this one. I saw an interview with Jack Gleeson about this episode last week. He said it was his favorite episode because all he had to do was lay there and take a nap with the coins on his eyes while everyone else had to work.

Valar Dohaeris Jon meets the King-Beyond-the-Wall while his Night Watch Brothers flee south towards the Wall. In King's Landing, Tyrion wants a reward, Cersei arranges a dinner party, and Littlefinger offers to help Sansa. Across the Narrow Sea, Dany starts her journey west while in the Riverlands, Arya meets a band of outlaws. --Protector to the Mother of the Dragons: "They have grown" --Mother of the Dragons: "They have not grown enough!" 56949 I've read Storm of Swords 3 times now. I thought it was a good start to Season 3. I think it wasn't quite clear in the beginning who won or lost the Battle of the Fist, though. Nice to see the return of Ser Barristan. I really hope we get Jorah's line from the book, "Rhaegar vote valiantly, Rhaegar fought nobly, Rhaegar fought honorably - and Rhaegar died."
