<sigh> Sold.... Daddy has to keep explaining to the kids why there's no college fund... :) and will be preceding Strange Aeons with the Hells' Rebels adventure path. ...Hell's Rebels, AND Hell's Vengeance. StrangeAeons sounds like it will be the 2nd half of 2016 Adventure Path. And withWes writing it, dare I say it starts in Ustalav? Perhaps...

  • 04:07 PM - smiteworks quoted Obvious_Ninja in post FANTASY GROUNDS Virtual Tabletop's D&D License!
smiteworks I hate to ask this... and it may have been answered and I may have missed it. Is there a release date or the DMG or the two adventures beyond LMoP? How are you handling the EE Players Companion? Are the new race option and spells going to be included with the EE expansion for Fantasy Grounds? Just curious. My group is using Roll20 for now but I think we're ready to jump over! Thanks for the info and thanks for being so responsive on this board! We have submitted Hoard of the Dragon Queen for review by Wizards of the Coast. The Rise of Tiamat is mostly complete and ready to submit after Hoard passes. The DMG and Princes of the Apocalypse are still in the works. We don't yet have an ETA for those. Eventually, we should get close to releasing simultaneously but we still have some work to catch up on. The new races will be included with the PotA adventure, but we might look at doing something separate as well. We need to discuss this with our contacts.

  • 02:47 AM - turkeygiant quoted Obvious_Ninja in post Erik Mona on Paizo Releases and D&D 5E's Impact
Paizo has said repeatedly that Pathfinder Unchained is not a precursor to a 2nd edition... Also, I too am excited for the map reprints. There are several I need.... They keep on saying that and I will but into the fact that Pathfinder 2e might not be right around the corner...but I don't think it is that far away either. Just the fact that they can write a entire book full of major revisions shows that they are at least contemplating the flaws of the system, and I can see how the next logical step is to move away from band-aid fixes into a new edition with baked in changes.

Actually the year is what I needed. Thank you! It's nice that they actually listed a year. Neither Lost Mine nor the ToD modules were set in a specific year (although the ToD Expeditions adventures in Phlan were set in 1489 DR, so it's reasonable to assume that Hoard and Rise were too).
