...ost wards were already triggered, leaving only minor protective cantrips as testimonies of domestic concern. Many Owls were killed in a focused, fast and brutal battle. The force that passed through was the real threat, apparently. Arduniel meets the diseased. Now, they are fully recovered. All three tainted heroes, plus Allanor, are here. They felt they had to move towards the castle with all urgency, seeking out a tome held by the Priestess - they dreamed about it, or so they say. They're kept on a short leash, though: they attacked everyone and everything on sight as they arrived. Inside, the ruins aren't terribly different. The only true distinction appears on the back rooms, where the Priestess kept her altar: the sanctuary spell fell, the room's been ravaged and the priestess vanished. No one remains, except the dead - both drow and owls. The faint presence of a couple of teleportation spells remain in the air, marks on the floor denouncing it. "Dram's men came here earlier, asking for an orc shaman, a traveling dwarf, a pair of hooded women and a shifty monk. There's more, and then there's less, I see." - she motions towards the band. "I can offer shelter, if you come with me. And then we can discuss what in the blazes Dram wants with you." - she points forward as the group enters the plantation. [Ok, Marius's still hidden, of course. The others are quite visible. You're just a few steps into the plantation, away from curious eyes. You can still leave, if you want to,or make special preparations before you move on, if you so choose. Belara and her young companion will lead the party, if you choose to follow them. Oh, the group can also grab samples from the stall before leaving. Also, everyone, please, roll Sense Motive. :)] Neurotic KahlessNestor Shayuri MetaVoid

...ical statues and idols around the studios and tents. As he expected, most of them portray the ancestor’s cult, typical of the Fey. Still, a few statues translate the new elfic patheon, something represented by the Priestess’ practices around Alessia. Some of the statues have been enchanted to create emotional reactions on the worshippers – from fear to comfort. Others have been prepared as fertility charms, or simply as pieces to harness magical forces. Some have also been prepared to house natural spirits, while others have been made to become funeral icons. The ones that interest Daxio the most, though, are those that have been destroyed. They held language and illusion enchantments, preserving messages and tales delivered by the Lyllend as prophecies. He seeks out for any other pieces of information, but it seems that most of the studios were destroyed, along with their owners... Moss drops down eastward from the sky toward the galloping Green Knights in case there is an emergency and asks for their report. If it is nothing that requires immediate attention he flies back into the camp, hopefully, to prevent mob killing whoever is caught. That is no kind of justice even against these opponents. "Well, maybe for the demons..." he thinks as he flies next to the lead knight. "Report, Sir Knight! I'm faster if anything requires immediate handling." OOC: MetaVoid, your familiar is flying. Why not send him with me next time so we can communicate?

Watching from afar Morgrym already understands the nature of the deals: both Willy and Tessa employ bartering charms, using magic to sweeten deals and smooth the talk. Between them, the mushrooms hold natural properties themselves: the batch they're negotiating seems to increase perception and create illusions, all at once... They could certainly be used in interesting alchemic experiments... The youth pulls a couple of mushrooms and waves them in front of the group. "Smell this... Bet you ain't finding better or fresher anywhere in these parts!" - he smiles. "Delivers one heck uffa punch when you mix it with mead! Willy himself could tell ya more. He's been using stuff from the manor along with his beverage. His wagons sell all over the valley these days! I guess he got a little sumthin-sumthin up there, if ya ask me... The Isles' fires have been kept under control. 10) The Specters' and fugitive Knights' lead is still recent. They can still be investigated, even though teleportation might have limited the reach for results. Ok, whenever we have larger happenstances and you are released from direct engagements, I'll coordinate things like this: you can individually give me one or more complex actions to peform - e.g. helping put a fire down, investigate a scene, capture enemies, and so on. I'll ask for the appropriate skill tests - if any are necessary - and present the results according to rolls or choices. Each 'mini-downtime' will allow for a certain number of actions, which I'll place before we begin. Ok, you have time for one complex action each. ...o bring five down as they flee to the south; three more before they can reach the wall and the swamps to the north; a couple at the Hills of War. Everywhere, Moss realizes how messy the situation really is. Even though the forces focused on their eastern attack, the area lacks any solid barriers or frontiers. More might be hidden - after all, it's in their nature to act in secrecy. The very nature of the situation confuses Moss. why would they waste their forces in such a disastrous attack? After the task is done, the conflicts die out. Here and there, the hash consequences of the battle still mark the horizon. Suddenly, the encampment's met with a commotion. The dragon sees it from the distance: someone got caught and is taken to a central hub amidst the tents - probably to be harshly dealt with. A line of Green Knights returns from the caves, riding West at full speed. As Morgrym measures the strength of the auras, a young halfling of clever eyes approaches, chewing on a generous loaf of bread. "Heya! So, how can I help ya'll?" - he says, half of his mouth still full. The joyous expression vanishes for a second as he studies the group - or at least those he can see around - with a curious glance. "So nice t'see some distinct folks 'round these parts! So ya... You ain't from here, right?" - he asks in a low tone of complicity. He doesn't seem to recognize Hagadark, and if he does, he doesn't seem to care. "Bet ya heard from our fiiiine crops and figured you could score some of it for a damn good price, am I right? Mighty fine! Not a common sight ta see traveling folk 'round here. I wouldn't trust my people's safety to your hands alone." - the satyr smiles with cruelty, turning a cold shoulder towards Thanes. "I'm sorry for that. We have plenty to discuss. But first I strongly advise you keep your prisoners..." - he glances towards the Captain, unconcerned with secrecy. "Thanes here has a tendency to boast other warrior's glories as his own. Clearly they understand this battle to be over. Others find their way under the green canopies as well. Whatever hit both tower and castle mustered an impressive amount of strength, something not displayed at all during the fight in front of the caves. [Ok, you have the knights under custody, two riders to help and Moss doing the area's recon. Both castle and tower suffered greatly. The planes before the caves are bloody and fiery, but the battle is over. The living quarters are basically safe. You can still pursue the last remnant of the armies, go to the caves and help the Green Knights and their allies or visit the other parts of the city. The knights simply gesture towards the weapons, stepping away from them to reassure that they have no intention of challenging their captor's commands. Would you dare go there by yourselves? Anyone knows what mushroom fields are and where they are? Let's move while we talk." The feistier one responds almost immediately, in a secretive tone that adds nothing to situation, but denounces her own fear and weariness. "The mushroom caves are in the back of this cave complex. They were the reason the settlers chose to dig and build here. Part of the mushrooms have been tamed by Belara's mentor with his druid powers, years ago. She's the main caretaker there. You know the end of it: an army of cowards killing two warriors outside of combat. It is their way. Not the way of the Underworld." She then turns to Daxio, leaving Moss to pass judgement. "Our Tome of the Dead is our sacred book. It holds secrets of wisdom and religion, the names of our gods and our dead. It allows us to merge with the sacred realms of beyond, settle disputes, bury our dead... So, you'll see why we're so desperate to have it back..." - she glances at the Arcanist - "... and why the priestess interest confuses us so. Reunited, the fugitives look a lot like a small mob: four shamblers, four refugees and the five heroes. This will surely make it a lot harder to pass unnoticed.... "Where to?" - Arvana's only question is followed by a concerned glancing around. The heroes notice that the mists and the spiders have warned more pursuers. They're moving fast towards the abandoned house! One or two can even be seen tumbling down a nearby street to meet their companions! For now, this should be more than enough for them to slide away, but soon enough the size of the group will become a hindrance, to say the least. If I understand the story correctly, wardstone was destroyed and we are now the wards. You might need to build a new one. With heroes sacrificing themselves or at least their mythic power to build one. You could take that non-mythic option for extra 'mundane' power in mythic campaign. I cannot recall right now what it was, but I remember looking at it when I was making the character There is an archetype with four elemental eidolons (these are summoner pets, but not really :) ) - first of all, you get four of them, but with predefined evolutions..and second, it fits your description. An elemental ally is a druid who has crafted powerful bonds of trust and friendship with one ally from each of the four primary elemental planes. Elemental allies are similar to genie-binders Best part is, it replaces only wild empathy and natures lure. Metavoid and Neurotic have some cool ideas here. What's the ruling from our Friendly Neighborhood DM??? I will say that I was leaning toward my druid having a preference for earth elementals.

There are three different bacteria in this strange grouping. I test very, very positive for the antibodies for the other two, not Legionnaire's. That was a sign of an active infection. They are not too hard to treat, takes 30 days, twice a day, of a older antibiotic. But these buggers invade the cells and therefore don't cause an immune system response immediately. Then, upon the drow commenting about 'dark blood,' her mood visibly sours. She leans back against a tree, keeping her temper under control and analyzing the situation. "If it was stolen, that'll be easy enough to figure out, though it might necessitate a visit to the Underdark and drow society to inspect the scene of the crime - and I have had heard rumors that drow hate women like me more than they hate any man. What was it they said I was doing the last time? Oh yes, 'pretending to be a woman, but my birth was my truth.' She was a spider from the waist down, but I guess it doesn't count for her."
