Impossible weapons

So someting that puzzles me. Why does DnD include no weapons that are possible only due to magic, or similarly enchantments that actually alter how a weapon works?

EG: An extensible flail ala Castlvania, giving 10 or 15 feet of reach?

Or An animated skeletal jaw on a staff?

Or a gauntlet of Produce flame, allowing flire melee or ranged damage.

Or feats that work with combat styles built around existing enchantments?

frex: A feat that allows you to strike a second target when using a returning weapon.

So what impossible weapons do you have in your game, or what would you like to see?

The classic video-game snake sword. A weapon that can freely shift between a normal longsword and a 15ft reach whip of sharp blades (that can be used to stab people with if desired).

The weapon the Alseides use in the anime Escaflowne. A kind of pool of liquid metal that can launch out long, sharp wires to slash and impale stuff with.

A Yo-Yo of death that consists of a metal blade on a string that can be redirected easily mid-flight.

There was a Bond movie where the bad guys used yo-yo saws. Guest starring Tiger Tanaka!

I've played a character (a Rougish Juggler) who specialised in Yo-Yo combat

another 'kewl' weapon would be a Blitzball (like Final Fantasy X) - watch Shaolin Soccer for soem way cool Blitzball effects:)

The player of the monk in my game is glad I watched those movies, as his attacks, successful saves, and what not are now described in much cooler way. Nothing changed numerically, but boy is he fun to watch.
