Reading Greg Bilsland's blog I wonder if maybe they have been working too many hours.

Well, it’s a Friday afternoon at WotC and conversation has digressed to discussion about making the Wizard into a two-weapon fighter who wields large books. “He could clap his foe between two giant tomes,” I explained to Logan, gesticulating just in case the verbal description wasn’t sufficient. Needless to say, work is more or less done for the day.
