Which version of D&D or D&D-like will you be playing by the end of 2008 ?

I was just wondering, now that 4E has been read by most of us and that we know more about the Pathfinder RPG, what version of D&D do you intend to be playing, say, by the end of 2008 ?

3.5 into the foreseeable future. (But will play the Pathfinder APs and modules if they are easily adaptable to FR [so far so good] and easy to use with 3.5 will little/no work [so far so good].)

I'll be running both 4th and 3.5 and am looking into Pathfinder as well.

As for myself, as a DM, I voted PRPG.

This is a hope.

However, since I have been mostly playing for the past year and a half, I think that by the end of the year :

- we'll give a try at 4E for fun ;
- we'll go on on our "Shackled City AP" using 3.5 rules (that's what my DM told us) ;
- I'll give a look at the french dK system next time I go to my FGLS ;
- I hope to play at least one "Call of Chtulhu" adventure ;
- I would like to give a try at 2 french RPGs : one that is old ("maléfices", mysteries at the turn of the 20th century) and one that is recent ("Te deum pour un massacre", roleplaying during the religion wars in 16th century rance/Europe).

As far as D&D is concerned? 4e, definitely. I wouldn't go back to 3e on a dare.

(And if 4e starts to suck, we've still got Spirit of the Century, Trail of Cthulhu and Buffy in the rotation. Too many good games out there to be stuck with one.)
