Kobold with a Bastar Sword

Can he weild it two handed.

Whats the smallest length of bastard sword you can get, and Kobold is 4 foot isnt he.

It is versatile, so yes, he can weild it two handed.

Length is fluff.

As a small character he has to wield it two-handed and gains no benefit from doing so. He can not wield it one handed.

That sword is the very definition of a full blade, not a bastard sword.

As an aside, would there be any way to have a kobold wielding a full blade? Perhaps a magic weapon I don't know would enable this?

Not that I am aware of. Small creatures are not allowed to use two-handed weapons, and must use Versatile weapons two-handed minus the benefit. There are a couple of exceptions in the Eberron Players guide but thats it.

yes, for a human. If the figure pictured is kobold sized, it's a bastard sword.

Anyway a Kobold can weild a Bastard Sword and either shoot a hand crossbow or throw a dagger ?

Not at the same time. He can let go of the sword with one hand while he uses the dagger or hand crossbow, but he can't do anything useful with it while he does so. He's "holding" it at that point, not "wielding" it.
