There are a lot of awesome things in the DC Adventures.

An update to a great game that looks even better
The official rules system for DC gaming is now part of the OGL family
But the thing that really struck me last night:
Because the OGL is in the book, Gygax and Arneson are listed and credited for their original materials.
WotC, and Jonathan, Monte, and Skip of course get credit as well. And quite a few other names get permanent credit for their work on D20 modern.
And deservedly so.
And every book with the OGL has the same language crediting Gygax and Arneson, so it is nothing special to this title.
But it is still pretty awesome to me in this particular case.
