Best d20 or OGL Super hero game?

Greetings!

Having recently picked up Mutants and Masterminds, it got me wondering,

What do people think is the best d20 or OGL super hero game out there and why?

What d20 or OGL Super hero games are out there?

I know of FCtF, SAS and M&M. Are there any others? Anyone want to compare and contrast? I only have M&M and so I don't know how it stacks against the others.

There is Vigilance!

Hi,

For some reason folks seem to forget Vigilance. It is a excellent pure d20 adaption of the supers world. It has been available in PDF format for a while and we are doing a massively expanded print version which will go to the printer in about a week or two.

This is a great, well balanced, pure d20 supers game (meaning it uses levels, core classes, Pclasses, skills, feats, etc and presents them all well) as you can tell by the reviews and previews. Being a publisher I would not want to comment on any of the other products so I won't but you can decide. Personally, if you are into the supers games Iwould guess that several, if not all of these will find there way onto your gaming shelf eventually as the all have different, great qualities.

I did not think you were trying to exclude Vig, just wanted to keep letting people know it is out there. The PDF version has gotten high marks and the print version is turning out great so I did not want folks to miss this product.

Hope you liked what you saw in the preview!

Deeds Not Words is the best true D20 supes game IMHO. M&M is bloody brilliant, but having a group that's been playing Star Wars d20 and Spycraft, I was looking for a d20 system, not an OGL. All the d20 elements are there in DNW, the mechanics are fluid, and there's enough room to wiggle within d20's structure that you have exceptional creativity to customize your character.

Just one GM's opinion.

*Mutants & Masterminds* is magnificent, so I think it's got the "best OGL supers game" title locked for more reasons than... just being the only one out right now.

d20 Modern will likely, eventually, be the best superhero game (once the third party expansions for use with superheros start to come out).

I would have to say that Four Colors to Fantasy is the best!

Of course, I work for Morrus and am friends with all the writers of the book, so you might want to ignore my opinion.
