    Battle Music?

Well, I'm trying to revitalize my list of musics that I use for battles and I was wondering what everyone else uses.

There is the obvious "Duel of the Fates" and other star wars music..

So, what do you all use?

If you can find it, get the Legends CD by Clannad (sp?) which was the music for British TV series Robin of Sherwood. The 'Battles' piece, though short, is simply great at building tension.

Classical pieces that are good for combat include:

    - Mars the Bringer of War from The Planets by Holst
    - The Hut on Fowls Legs from Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky (important: get the version orchestrated by Ravel)
    - O Fortuna from Carmina Burana by Orff (great for hordes of undead attacking)
    - Night on Bald Mountain by Mussorgsky
    - The Storm at Sea from The Four Seas Interlude by Britten (brilliant piece!)

    Hope that helps.
