OK, a few things to start.

First, the usual caveats (none of which I expect will be any problem for this crew - you guys are generally great). Post regularly, and with some semblance of quality :D. Have fun.

Second, something a little unusual. Experience tracking and leveling will be taken care of at the end, but for this one I think we'll not do any mid-adventure leveling. Too much work for me to adjust challenge ratings on the fly. At the end we'll make sure everyone is taken care of and gets the full TXP/TGP to which you're entitled.

Third, have fun!. I'll do my best to facilitate the fun having.

Heinrich is given his drink by Marla as he is about to enter the room, and as he is about to take a drink he sees Aradra's nervousness as he reads the letter. He was going to greet Shadow but he seems to have forgotten to do so as he sits at a seat that is best suited to allow every one else in without him blocking the door. He remains silent to allow the situation to be explained once - when everyone is in the room.

Sol walked into the room, a curious smile bending her lips. She took a sip of the drink that Grog had given her even though she had told him she was without coin. She had promised to pay him when she returned with full pockets, and the half orc had found her a job within minutes. SHe was impressed. Sol eyed the red haired wizard and raised her tankard: "Sol" she smiled as way of introduction. She watched the ranger reading over the letter and casually moved to the side of his massive wolf. Calmly she offered her hand for Shadow to check out. Once the felt that the wolf was accepting her presence she crouched down to his eye level and scratched his chest. "And what's your name boy?"

Shadow gave Sol's hand a few sniff's before giving it a small lick, which seemed to be the indication that Sol passes in the wolf's eyes. His tail wags at Sol's belly scratch, and it continues for Melisande's ear scratch.

Aradra nods at Melisande's inquiry, saying "You could say that." He puts the letter down and pushes it to the middle of the table, so others can look and read it. "I received this letter from my friend and companion Kalinn Ari, and I feel that it speaks as to what we need to do: Assist Clan HaGruut in stopping the Frost Giant Varithian. "

Aradra leans back in his chair, with his hands in front of his face, watching intently. Part of the adventuring life was to question the client with details about the request, and Aradra hoped he could answer as many of them as he could. "I will admit I do not know alot about this situation, but I hope I can answer some of the questions you have."
