Setting things on fire.

Can someone point me at rules for setting things like books, clothing, backpacks, and other equipment on fire? Rules covering burn times for various items would be handy but not absolutely necessary.

From the SRD:

Energy Attacks

Objects take half damage from acid, fire, and lightning attacks. Divide the damage by 2 before applying the hardness. Cold attacks deal one- quarter damage to
objects. Sonic attacks deal full damage to objects.

and

Vulnerability to Certain Attacks

The DM may rule that certain attacks are especially successful against some objects. For example, it's easy to light a curtain on fire or rip up a scroll.

I won't post them, but the SRD and DMG have lists of item/substance hp, hardness and break DC...
