Current Floor: Taking a quick fly around this level, Rillix would discover that this floor is completely empty. The only other two areas here are guest quarters. Interestingly enough, one wing is sized for giant kind and the other is sized for small folk.

Each of these human sized rooms contains furnishings sized for Medium and Small creatures: five comfortable beds, a circular rug, a barrel of drinking water, an empty dresser, and an empty wardrobe.

One of the giant sized rooms contains a storage area full of crates of food and ale.

Above Floor:
Upstairs is a completely different story. Music fills this hall when Rillix first arrive. Theroom is split into two levels; a 15-foot-high raised ledge hugs the walls to the north and east, and gently sloping ramps lead up to it. The acoustics here are excellent. Barnacle-covered pillars of hewn rock rise to meet the vaulted ceiling, and a huge crystal window allows in light that casts beautiful patterns on the walls.

Under the crystal window is a hulking crab with colored nodules and hollow flutes of beautiful coral growing out of its shell. This creature is a living instrument. When one of the nodules on its shell is tapped, the motion tickles the crab and causes it to exhale a burst of air through one of its coral pipes, producing a deep tone similar to that of a pipe organ.

Performing in this room are the two tallest and beautiful giants the group has ever seen. It stands to reason they are Storm Giants. One of the women sings while the other plays the bizaree crab instrument. Two guards, every bit as tall, flank these artists.

Other giants are gathered around mussel-shell tables and a giant coral fountain in the lower part of the room. The coral fountain spouts fresh water, which the giants drink from their conch shells. These four indivduals are all of differnt giant races: Hill, Stone, Fire, and Cloud.

Legend
When told of the Giant gathering, Aremus suggests, "Perhaps we can negotiate a peace between Giant and regular-sized folk. We could say that Harshnag sent us, by way of introduction. I am no friend to dragons (in particular after our recent ordeal) and we may find that a common enemy can help to bridge our differences."

Neurotic

I plan on living forever. Or die trying.
"You would talk with them? Now? We don't even know if Harshnags name will bring them to rage or smiles. Let's rest first. Those are giants. You cannot trust them." Ordrar finds himself is once again surprised at these folks. All they would do is talk. With giants. Who attack their cities. True, there are obviously those who work toward peace, but they don't know there giants...

Dern nodded. Holing up in the small rooms that appeared to be empty would hopefully limit their discovery by any giants. “I’m for restin’ up, then seeing if we can talk t’ these giants. Harshnag seemed t’ trust us wi’ tha’.”

Tranio is surprised when Ordrar takes the first watch after his own offer, but he shrugs and collapses on one of the beds.

"Well enough. Wake me when it's my turn," he says, and promptly falls asleep.

OOC: Let's aim for a long rest if we can: certainly that would help Tranio. We might get interrupted, but if we do we'l at least get partial benefits.

Aremus shrugged. He was happy to get some rest while he thought of what he would say to the Giants, if he had the chance. He sat cross-legged on his shield in the middle of the room and entered his elvish trance.
