D&D 5E Storm King's Thunder

Aremus & Dren: A massive shape bursts from the clouds and blocks the path before. The largest creature you've ever seen, all teeth and scales, snarls and roars a few feet ahead of you.

OOC: DC 14 Wisdom saving throws against frighten from everyone.

Bethany & Ordrar: The male giant does not attack you and continues to clutch at the necklace around his neck. You can both tell that serious, permanent damage is being done to him.

Majordomo: The female giant is a brave warrior, but a very large target. Attack after attack lands and you can all tell she is getting nervous. The arrival of the dragon causes some viable relief, but she does not attack further. "Very well, tiny ones. What shall we talk about?"

"Well, Hello there." said Aremus nervously to the dragon and then he turned to the MajorDomo, "We represent Goldenfields on a mission of inquiry. Why have you come to float over our city, and what are your intentions?"

While speaking, he shouldered his bow and couldn't stop himself from constantly glancing at the dragon over his shoulder.

OOC: Wisdom save DC 14: 1D20+2 = [7]+2 = 9

Frightened only imposes disadvantage when the source is within line of sight. If I'm facing the majordomo, do I have disadvantage on attacks on the majordomo?

Typically facing isn't a thing, so doesn't matter. If there isn't something visibly blocking line of sight, you're considered to be actively keeping an eye around you, especially in combat. Unless the DM rules otherwise (like guards and such), but that is usually out of combat.

Afternoon
Round 3

Dren pulled up, startled, as the dragon suddenly appeared. “Fraggle!” he cursed.

Wisdom save: 1D20+3 = [12]+3 = 15

He managed to keep good discipline on his fear, however, looking over at the majordomo. Oh, now she wanted to talk? Well, at least she wasn’t beating on the poor boy anymore. And it was better than trying to fight a dragon.

Dren still kept a defensive stance, however. After all, he couldn’t get down the stairs now, not with a dragon in the way.

Neurotic

I plan on living forever. Or die trying.
Ordrar checks on the binding of the giant, trying to see if the thing should be cut, broken, unlocked or something else.
[roll0]
Thus, he was in perfect position to witness full majesty of the dragon. He doesn't bother with brave facade, immediately starting to pray to The Keeper of Secrets recommending his soul to his care even if he dies far from the ground.

OOC: How could one free the prone giant from the choker? Ordrar has crowbars, hand axes and mold earth as easily accessed tools

Fistan,

Fistan is overcome by the fearful presence of the dragon and is grateful that fighting seems to have stopped for now. He cowers behind the balcony railing listening to the exchange, peering over the railing at the downed prince, trying to see if there is any way he can help.
