Dandin arched an eye at the Hobgoblin. "You're holding out on me... Now out with it, or we'll leave you here for the Julkounians to do with as they please. And I gather that they aren't very happy right now. If you tell us what we need to know, you can swim for your freedom."

Enseth grabs the Hobgoblin by the neck and lifts him off his feet, slowly squeezing his throat.

"The mister asked you a question."

The battle is over, and no one was blaming Tommi, at least not aloud. That's good, he thought. His rib still hurt when he breathed, but he knew he'd be fine by morning.

During the interogation, he heads back into the inn, and again pokes his nose into the room with the small door where he had first been squeezed. He steps over the bugbear as he does so, looking to see if he has a beltpurse or anything else.

Carefully, he explores the next room as best he can.

Enseth & Dandin

Dandin could see that Enseth had taken it one step too far. The Hobgoblin might have been possible to bribe, trick, or cajole, but his zealous military training kicked in when threatened with his life. The hobgoblin kicked and spat and tried to wrestle free, no longer interested in his delaying tactic.

OOC:

Enseth can just crush him if you want.

Tommi

After stealing a modest purse off of the body of the bugbear who had tried to murder him, Tommi quickly investigated the room and the stairs leading up. The room was storage for the Tavern, with extra chairs, brooms, and various other supplies tucked about. The stairs led to a nicely furnished guest-house. Of course, it had spent some time as a nest for bugbears and the place was in terrible disarray - and it smelled.

OOC:

Just 3 gold, 7 silver, a child's doll, and a few other kniknacks that would not be valuable to anyone with half a brain.

If the Hobgoblin doesn't respond he squishes him and goes for the next Goblin.

Tommi takes the child's doll, since it would look sad just to leave it lying there, and stuffs it into the bottom of his pack. Why is he feeling sentimental? He hands the coins to the others, for the common share.

Enseth crushed the hobgoblin and grabbed the cowardly goblin, who shouted, "Aaayee! Spogg knows nothing! Nothing! Dunt kill Spoooooogg!"

Dandin stares in horror as Enseth kills the Hobgoblin in cold blood. He doesn't move or respond for several seconds as the shock wears on him. Then, he sees Enseth go for Spogg in the same way and snaps out of it.

"Enseth! Stop it, please! He doesn't know anything more! Besides, he's been trying to co-operate from the moment we found him..."
