We've passed it last night and are over a quarter of the way to the next goal, but right now is the time for all of our backers to help decide which monsters go in the final book! We've posted up a special backer-only poll link, where backers can vote for their five favorites from the following list of killer constructs to see which ones will be guaranteed a spot in the final volume!

Aballonian - An intelligent, self-modifying construct race.

Clockwork Goliath - A giant humanoid machine equipped for labor or battle.

Clockwork Leviathan - A mechanical sea serpent powered by an ionic fire.

Clockwork Mage - A sentient machine programmed to wield magic.

Clockwork Soldier - A human-sized robot programmed with deadly strength and skill.

Clockwork Spy - A miniature drone able to observe, record, report, and infiltrate.

Golem, Crystal - A magical automaton of enchanted crystal.

Golem, Fossil - A magical automaton brought to life from the primordial remains of ancient alien beasts.

Golem, Junk - A magical automaton cobbled together from scrap and spare parts.

Golem, Lead - A magical automaton of heavy metal.

Soulbound Shell - A sinister spirit animating a mechanical body with magical power.

Robot, Annihilator - A massive battlefield robot of terrifying power.

Robot, Gearsman - A compact humanoid warrior or worker drone.

Robot, Myrmidon - A rocket-powered aerial combat robot.

Robot, Terraformer - A heavy-duty earthmover robot.

Robot, Torturer - A subtle and sinister robot programmed for pain.

Every backer gets a vote, and the Final Five with the highest vote totals are guaranteed a spot in the book! Some others on the list might get in if we need to balance the final book's creature types and power levels, but your Final Five get to saunter past the velvet rope with a saucy stroll while the other constructs bleep, bloop, and beg for a chance to make the final book!

We'll have more monster polls coming soon, starting with Alien Animals at $18,000 and Planetary Plants at $22,000, but with all this talk about monsters we don't want to forget about villains and heroes! We are rapidly closing in on unlocking the Alien Codex at $20,000, but even before that our next stretch goal at $16,000 will see an awesome array of richly detailed, ready-to-use characters spanning an array of alien races, with complex backstories and fully developed personalities with Starfinder and 5E versions of our iconic Planetary Heroes, perfect to insert into your space-faring campaign as playable characters, henchmen, hirelings, allies, or rivals!You can get these heroes separately as an add-on if you like, or get them automatically as part of the Alien Codex!

The Alien Bestiary Kickstarter for Starfinder, Pathfinder, and 5E is at almost 2.5 times our original funding goal, having crashed through stretch goal after stretch goal with many more to come! We’ve recently unleashed our third backer poll where YOU get to decide which monsters go into the final book! So far, the early leader among our Planetary Plants is the pod-person spawning bodythief, with the sinister mindslaver mold, titanic zygomind, creeping cerebric fungus, and savage shambling mound rounding out the Final Five, but the mysterious moonflower and rapacious giant flytrap are right behind!

The next stretch goal at $24,000 unlocks a second set of fantastic clear plastic pawns, this set focused primarily on the humanoids and alien races of the Alien Codex, the killer companion book of ready-to-play NPCs from every level and filling dozens of roles in a sci-fi campaign, along with variant creatures, iconic heroes with rich backstories at multiple levels, and more!
