Starfinder Starfinder Not Popular For PbP?

This is just a query for curiosity, as the reason I quit playing PbP in the first place (namely a glacial pace) still obtains. But when I look through the thread list I am a mite surprised that there are almost no Starfinder games. Is the system too new? Not "new" enough, being Pathfinder in Space? Or is 5e just a flat out better system for the PbP environment?

Cause Starfinder sucks objectively. I have charts which prove it.

This has nothing to do with personal grudges against all things Paizo since 3.0 days.

I think it's just new.

That, and sci fi is a smaller niche audience than fantasy RPGs in general. That's my impression at least.

The consensus I've heard is that the system itself is pretty good if you're up for "one step above Pathfinder" levels of crunch, and everyone wants to change at least one thing, if not many things, about the setting itself. I have ideas for a fantasy version of Battlestar Galactica, but right now I don't have quite enough mastery of the system to even attempt it.

There is one game, isn't there? The system is still what 2-3 months old? Ask again in a year.
