Has anyone played this or run this? I'm starting a new campaign, using it to as a prelude to Death Frost Doom -- basically to create a village that the players won't want to endanger by screwing the pooch in that dungeon too badly.
How has Cold Winter worked out for you? Are there any pitfalls I should be aware of? Suggested levels? Tweaks to make it better?
