Appearance: His face is clean shaven, with angular features, and a large nose. His left hand bears some superficial scarring from having damaged it on a bear trap at a young age.

Background: Rhydius' father was a trapper, and so at an early age Rhydius began helping him maintain and repair his traps. Rhydius, being the youngest of his 3 brothers by 7 years, was scorned by them for the fact that their inherritance would be so poor having to split it 4 ways, and perhaps because their mother had died months after giving birth to him. One week before his 18th birthday Rhydius ran off in the night leaving behind a note for his father explaining why. He has traveled for a year working as a tinker reapiring things, and telling stories as he passes through. On occasion, using the skills he learned as a boy, to "fix" a towns other problems.

Mousey and petite, Jai could do with a good scrub. As well as dirt, her flesh carries the scars of her misadventures as a child and her back is markedwith the unmistakable scars of a whip.
Background:
Jai is a bit of a loner who finds it hard to trust others. She speaks quietly and often whispers to herself especially when performing hard tasks as if she is giving ehrself encouragement.
She is aware that there is safety in numbers (particulary after spending most of her childhood packed into a cell with others) and the possibility of earning a good life by becoming an adventurer. She is under the illussion that wealth equals happiness and believes that if she manages to find her fortune it will allow her to forget the dark past she has endured.
It takes a lot for her to open up and those able to earn her trust will discover that she recently escaped from forced servitude at the hands of a cruel and malicious uncle who recruited children from the street and used them to commit crimes throughout the city his 'guild' is located.
The irony is that Jai came from a well off family. Her mother died during childbirth and her father sunk into a depression that caused him to lose interest in his business and lose his wealth. He is now an inmate in an asylum. Jai's uncle adopted Jai and set her to work with the other urchins he had 'taken under his wing'. Because she was 'family' she was treated a little better than the others but only enough so that she was able to smuggle a bobby pin to her cell one night, pick the lock on her shackles and escape.
She blames herself for her past believing that she must have done something bad to deserve such a life. Because of a deep rooted self loathing she sometimes refers to herself in the third person as if trying to distance herself from herself. On occassions of joy and happiness such as festivals and celebrations, she has been known to come out of her shell, influenced by the revelry around her and able to forget her woes for a fleeting moment.
Jai promises to go back one day, her mind turns to revenge often but her intent is to free the ones left behind from their suffering.

Appearance: A small humanoid with a cat like face, covered in black fur with a white spot over her eye.

Background: Elina Silvereye is a Katara of the Silvereye Clan, found in the tropical southern part of the Kanatisis region. Elina is the youngest of 3 daughters and 1 son, and out of those, the only one to manifest sorcerous powers. She always felt somewhat out of place because of this. Despite this, Elina lived a relatively normal child-hood, loved by her family and friends. It may be this that lured her into adventure; looking over the mountains and wondering what was on the other side, daydreaming about fighting dragons and saving helpless princes. It wasn't long before she packed her things and set off into the great unknown.

Appearance: A broad shouldered, strong young man of slightly-taller-than-average height with flowing, long dark brown hair and a beard. He seems to have a serious disposition, from the look that is almost always on his face, which is accompanied with a scar that runs diagonally, between his eyes, over the bridge of his nose.

Background: Graven grew up in the country side, with his parents who made their living working the land as farmers. He has a brother named Belgretor and a sister, Eilrath, somewhere in the world, although he knows not where, or if they're even alive. Nobody knows why they left, all they said was that they were leaving to live in the city. Knowing his siblings, they are probably living as adventurers... or criminals. They always seemed to find trouble of some sort. Ever since they left, Graven couldn't help but wonder what has become of them. After a few years of the same old life on the farm, he decided he would also leave, and hopefully bump into his brother and sister some day down the road. He travelled to Monemvassia, hoping for prospects of a better (and more exciting) life. He was attacked by a lone brigand along the way, and just managed to barely escape with his life, having been slashed across the face with a dagger. Alone and unarmed, all he could do is run for his life. And that he did. He ran and ran, until night fell, and stopped only after he was absolutely sure he was not being followed. A few days later he arrived in Monemvassia, and received healing from a good-natured cleric. Not long after arriving, though, he realized life in the city wasn't as good as it might at first seem from the outside. He struggled to survive as a mere beggar, and finally had had enough, when he one day decided to join the local militia. There he knew he had food to eat, water to drink, clothes on his back, a roof over his head, and an opportunity to improve his life. He had stability. He served for several uneventful years, and is now back where he started in the city, only not on the streets. He has taken to adventuring, seeking fame, fortune, and his brother and sister.

Appearance:
Lockwood's long shaggy hair is braided with hawk feathers.
He wears a simple vest under his chain shirt, with leather strips tied around his arms.
He keeps an axe and a bow strapped to his back, both of which have intricate designs carved into their handles.

Background:
Lockwood spent years as a hunter for his village. He learned the secrets of the wilderness and provided food for his family.
He was betrothed to a half-elf girl, born to his tribe's leader. Her birth was a shame to her family, so she was destined for a marriage to a lowborn hunter.
While he knew his future wife was meant to bring shame, he loved her, and the two looked forward to the day of their joining.
Unfortunately, on the day before they were to be wed, a seer visited their tribe and read their future. All she saw was calamity.
The tribe cast Lockwood out. He was only allowed to keep his weapons and the clothes on his back.
After a month living on his own in the woods, Lockwood planned to return to the village and steal away his betrothed.
He snuck back to the location of his village, but every sign of his tribe was gone. Clearly they had moved on to prevent him from returning.
Somewhere out there, his love was being dragged around by her family. For all he knew, she would be wed to someone else by now.
Lockwood knew he had to find her, but he had no clues. For now, his best plan is to travel as much as possible and search the land for any signs of his tribe.

  Small: As a Small creature, a gnome gains a +1 size bonus to Armor Class, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, and a +4 size bonus on Hide checks, but he uses smaller weapons than humans use, and his lifting and carrying limits are three-quarters of those of a Medium character.

Appearance: Long Story Short(LSS) will greet you with the kind of glowing smile that instantly makes you think you've met your new best friend. He talk with his whole body, all 3'2" of it, gyrating, bobbing, and motioning as he takes you through the latest tale. He has rough skin the color of sandstone and blue eyes that sparkle with mischief. His hair is the lightest brown and he wears a close cropped beard.
Background: Born with the surname Bilstik in a secluded gnomish society, LSS set off to learn the lore of other societies, as well as spread the gnomish legends he grew up with. The first innkeeper to hire him was initially impressed by his joviality, quick wit, and way with words, but eventually grew a bit tired of the monologues and dubbed him Long Story Short. Not quite taking his meaning (LSS loves to talk, but isn't always the best at knowing when you've had enough of him) the gnome claimed the moniker as his travelling name.
