Kickstarter New Dungeon Geomorph Dice & Cards Kickstarter

Inkwell Ideas has just launched a new Kickstarter for more DungeonMorph Dice & Cards! These are dungeon and cavern maps designed to connect to each other printed on cards or engraved on 1" dice. Several artist/cartographers are creating the designs, including Dyson Logos who created the format we're using.

The Kickstarter creates three new dice sets (two dungeon and one cavern) plus a new matching deck of 2.5" blue-style cards and a matching font. New to this Kickstarter are a set of 10" battlemats and a PDF of room descriptions. Stretch goals include bonus designs for new dice and cards!

You can also pick up our prior sets if you missed some or need replacements.

The new DungeonMorphs Kickstarter will have something the previous DungeonMorph sets didn’t have: short descriptions of each design! These will give you an idea of how a design may be used. You can completely ignore them if you want, and if a particular design gives you a great idea without looking at the write-ups, then use it! But if you’re struggling a bit with what could be the purpose of a design, who may be in a particular room or what might be the use of the room, these write-ups will help you flesh things out. If you’re using the designs for solo play, these descriptions can help point your story in one direction or another.

At our $20,000 stretch goal, we’ll give you description ideas for most rooms of each design. Basically, what you see before the “Expanded Options” section in the linked PDF. At $22,500, we’ll add a section that is something like the “Expanded Options” section in the linked PDF and a section like the “Alternate Purposes for this Design” for each design.

Less than a week left! Funded and on to stretch goals.

One of the stretch goals is to create a PDF of descriptions of each design (purposes of the rooms, possible foes, furnishings, etc.) And a second stretch goal adds lists of ideas for room features and alternate purposes of each design. A softcover printed book is an add-on for $15 or $25 in hardcover. See the sample here.

In two days (well, 2.5 days because basically because the campaign ends Thursday evening) the latest DungeonMorph Kickstarter ends. The project is funded, and several stretch goals have been unlocked! Here are some we’ve unlocked so far:

* A bonus die for everyone getting 3+ dice sets.
* A battlemat PDF for everyone getting 3+ dice sets or the 90 card 2.5″ card deck. (Anyone getting the 10″ battlemat cards was already getting this.)
* A PDF with descriptions for the designs/rooms. This was also expanded by another stretch goal to include alternate ideas. A printed book version of this is available as an add-on.

The next stretch goals are coasters/beer mats, another bonus die, and a limited edition (non-duplicate) bonus die!

We've just hit a stretch goal to give all backers of 3+ dice sets a new, non-duplicate bonus die, and we've added more stretch goals for bonus dice & cards!
