Somehow I forgot that spell level slots aren't the same as the ability to learn those spells :/

. . . and if warmagic gets delayed till the very end it might just be more fun to use battlemaster instead of EK.

Level 2 fighter level 9 wizard

Booming blade does nearly as much damage as extra attack at this point. So don’t worry about extra attack.

The synergy is having action surge for your spells and good armor and defensive style for ac.

I recommend a divination wizard or maybe abjuration wizard.
