No details have been announced, but Nathan Stewart closed out the live stream event for The Descent by proclaiming the final book out this year would be a hardcover setting book for Eberron.

That site hurts my eyes, but you do bring up a good point about what those announcements could be. With this being the first time that they are having an official presence at Comic Con that I'm aware of, the announcements could be any number of things. Realistically, it probably has to do with comics, shows, or the movie. Could they announce a book? They could, but what would it be?

I believe they have had ComicCon representation in the past, IIRC.

The only book stuff that would warrant ComicCon would probably be Dragonlance, but who knows if that's in the cards.

What about, and this is a longshot, the announcement is so good that it has tie-ins with both Death Saves and Bait? Say they announce Dragonlance or maybe Dark Sun, and Death Saves is selling shirts with Brom's artwork, or maybe Elmore's old stuff?

I'm pretty sure there is nothing that Manganiello would do anything to be involved in a Dragonlance project, and move heaven and Earth to make it happen. It wouldn't shock me if something was in motion for Dragonlance.

I would not be surprised at all if that happened, and he had his hands in the design or writing process.

The Art & Arcana book, with which he was involved, implied that something is up with Dragonlance for the future. Additionally, Kate Welch and Nate Stewart had that very weird exchange on Spoilers & Swag that I cannot shake seemed to have something to do with Dragonlance a few months back. Time will tell...

Oh I forgot about that! Maybe that will indeed be the classic setting PDF this year instead of Dark Sun. I wouldn't be mad! Solamnic Knights, Knights of Takhisis, and.....*looks around and whispers* Kender.

Crap, I've doomed us all!
