I request your aid of that from all you amazing people that enjoy looking at peoples homebrew work and giving useful feedback.

The idea here to add a archetype for the Ranger that focuses on mastering weapons.

Edit: Any and all feedback is welcome. Let me know where I have gone wrong. Is it overpowered or more so, underpowered!?

Thematically, this sounds more like a Ranger is splitting their training between Ranger and fighter.

Weapon specialisation: These are oddly specific and restrictive. Why these specific weapons? Why not include Scimitars and daggers alongside the shortswords and other pole weapons alongside the glaive for example?

Weapon specialist: Needs clarification as to how many times they can be used against a mix of favoured and non-favoured enemies.

Participate: - does this take an action? Bonus action? No action? On an attack? Hit?

Critical Vigor: - This is very powerful. Its more powerful than the dual-wielding rules and will synergise too well with Sharpshooter for example.

Systematic cuts: - Combine this ability with an ability that allows you to avoid opportunity attacks, and this becomes very, very good. Dashes do not need to be straight lines remember. OK due to limited uses probably.

Versatility - This would also fit well with the two-handed sword group. Does it also have unlimited uses?

Weapon defence: - As per Weapon specialist. needs language regarding uses clearing up.

Reposition: - Clarification as to whether it happens after the ally takes damage or not needed.

Light weapons - I'd suggest that this only works for a single weapon to avoid silliness. :)

I have taken your feedback in to consideration and come back with some ideas. If you could take a quick look and let me know what you thin think that would be great.

Weapon specialisation is now less restrictive. It looks like this:
Learning to master a type of weapon can take intense focus. Starting when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you can specialise in one of the following four weapon types: One Handed (Weapons without the Thrown, Heavy, Two-Handed or Versatile property), Bow (Bows and Crossbows), Two-Handed (Weapons wielded with two hands without the Reach property), Reach (Weapons with the Reach property). Specialising in a weapon type allows the use it's corresponding feature from Weapon Specialist and Weapon Defence. A second weapon type can chosen to specialise in at 10th level.

I have added a line at the end of Weapon specialist (and Weapon defence):
At 3rd level, your rigorous combat training with the weapons you have specialised in shows in your ability to enhance your attacks for added versatility. Any combination of these abilities can be used once per long rest, unless stated otherwise. When engaging a favoured enemy you gain one free use of these abilities per long rest.

Participate now requires a successful attack:
Participate - One-Handed: The swiftness in which you use these weapons allows you to show off your skills, encouraging any ally that can see you to action. After a successful attack, the next attack from an ally, against any target within 5 feet of you can be taken at advantage.

Critical Vigour has had the damage lowered and cannot benefit from the Sharpshooter feat:
Critical Vigor - Bow: After a successful hit on a target you can use your bonus action to make a quick yet less powerful attack. This attack does 1d4. This damage increases to 1d6 at 12th level. On a critical hit this attack does triple damage. This feature has unlimited uses. This ability cannot be used with the Sharpshooter Feat.

Systematic cuts requires you to move in a straight line and hits a maximum of three targets:
Systematic Cuts - Two-Handed: You move with lightning speed appearing to disappear and reappear in another location, striking a pose as you arrive. When you use the Dash action to travel in a straight line you may attack up to 3 creatures without repercussion. These attacks do not provoke Opportunity Attacks. Roll a separate attack for each target.

Reposition will get Clarification and Light Weapons will be restricted to two weapons.
