How Do You Post From Word?

I have done this before but can't remember how I did it.

Say I want to copy and past a table from a MS Word document. This is so I don't have to retype everything into the ENWorld table which works fine but double handling etc.

I can do it if I am the thread creator it seems but the paste from word button is greyed out if I reply to a thread. If I start the thread can I copy and past tables into future replies?

This is also partly because I use word a lot and want to spend a bit more effort in spellchecking etc rather than typing gibberish on my phone with auto correct and fat fingers and hitting post between ad breaks.

I have absolutely no idea. Not something I've ever done before. I didn't even know there was a "paste from word" button.

I write everything in Open Office and then paste, as you do with Word. It should be the same: copy all from Word, create a new post, Go Advanced (just so you get allz the toolz), click in the box and paste.

I am sure that is what you already tried, so what are you seeing when you go to paste and then save?.
