Actions
Multiattack. The sea serpent makes two attacks: one bite and one tail. It can't make both attacks against the same target unless the target is Huge or Gargantuan.

Bite.
+10 to hit, one target. Hit: 27 (6d6+6) piercing damage.

Tail. +10 to hit, one target. Hit: 20 (4d6+6) bludgeoning damage; if the target is a creature, it must make a DC 18 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

A sea serpent resembles a huge snake with a crocodile's head and armored scales, propelled through the water by four huge flippers. The usual sea serpent is about 80 feet long and 10 tons.

Sea serpents usually eat large fish (such as tuna, swordfish, and sharks), sea turtles, dolphins and porpoises, and small whales. A sea serpent poses a severe danger to smaller vessels. Fishing boats especially often fall prey to these creatures, as the smell of frightened fish attracts the sea serpent.

Merfolk, locathah, and aquatic elves greatly fear these creatures.
