The Inkwell Ideas Patreon (something like a monthly subscription) continues this month with “Outer Space” mini-sets for use with our software programs. This post has the Worldographer/Hexographer classic style map icons that give you more stars, planets, satellites, and other outer space icons. Whether you’re making a star map for Traveller or Star Wars, Star Trek, or any number of science fiction settings this set has all the essentials. These icons build on a few cosmic icons in the Alternate Classic Expanded icon set we made a few years back.
Each month we have 4 map icon sets: isometric map icons (good for Worldographer, but usable in Hexographer 1 as well); more flat/classic icons for Worldographer or Hexographer (seen here); more dungeon and building interior graphics perfect for making battlemats with Worldographer’s new battlemat functionality; and more city/village building icons designed for Worldographer’s city/settlement maps. All the graphics will be transparent PNGs, so they should be usable in other map & image editors as well.
As before, we’ll be posting preview thumbnails of each set, and making a single paid post on Patreon near the end of the month with the actual graphic sets. This post has our classic icons preview. Our plan is to do just one set of each type per month in one paid post.
