So I took a 2 Point Evolution - Ability Increase Dex, Do I have to wait 6 more levels to take the Evolution -

or can I take it say with the Evolution Surge spell or take it before the 6th levels are gained?
It is being applied to a different ability score
The PC is now a 6th Level Summoner but did not take the 2 pt Evo Dex Increase at 1st level
Ability Increase (Ex): An eidolon grows larger muscles, gains faster ref lexes, achieves greater intelligence, or acquires another increase to one of its abilities. Increase one of the eidolon’s ability scores by +2. This evolution can be selected more than once.
