Miami Vice also paved the way for big money in television, and was the first show to use current popular music as an intrinsic part of the show. The scene in the opening episode with "In The Air Tonight" playing has become pretty iconic.

It's definitely worth watching, though.

And yet, for all of that, there was actually very little blood. I remember quite specifically a scene in which one of the "bloody" killings occurred; a single spot of blood, from a bullet wound, on an otherwise spotless Panama Suit.

These days I'll take "Moonbeam City"
