"Alright, Captain, but follow us down or they'll cut us down in groups. Sirrah, don't you elves know how to use a bow?"

Marshal Jayce slops across the muddy road before heading straight for the keep. In a blink of an eye, the heavy flail is wrapped around his waste like a belt and a hand crossbow is in his right hand. Striding forward, he looses a tiny bolt at the archers. It pings harmlessly off the keep wall.

"I'm right behind you."Hilkalas replies, and he was truly left behind. He trots through the battlefield, mentally cursing at his lack of long range weapons.

Use the other move action to move to the square between F and H 10.

Sirrah spurs his mount forward to the base of the cliff where the keep stands, using the building for cover from most of his attackers.

Minor: Swift Rider (Sirrah's mount gains +4 speed until the end of his next turn.)
Double Move: Y24:Z25

"Stand behind me healer, we can't afford to loose you to a wild arrow." Hilkalas said. He found himself wondering why is that he is protecting this person, perhaps for self interest? Isn't him the most valuable asset in the battlefield?
Rava follows suit, and trots behind the marshal.

OOC: Rava will stand right behind Hilkalas to get some cover.

Seeing himself all alone, Jasper screams and runs madly across the field, Pumpkin barking and on his heels. "AAAAIIIIEEEEE"


The one bandit at the outpost puts an arrow into Jayce's arm and spins him back. The other moves over to the side of the outpost and tags Sirrah with a tanglefoot bag.

The bandit on the left hits Hilkalas in the shoulder and pushes him to the side of Rava. The last bandit targets the immobilized Sirrah, but hits the wall above his head.

A fifth bandit comes to the top of the outpost. He does not have a bow, but appears to be concentrating on something.

Terrain: The entire area is wet from the rain.

The road is difficult terrain due to mud. The rest of the area is wet, but it doesn't affect movement.

Cliffs: The entire area is surrounded by wet, extremely hard to climb cliffs that go up for at least 50 feet. The trail is right next to the cliffs on the right and left hand sides of the map.

Outpost: The interior of the outpost cannot be seen, just the walls. In the front of the outpost is a large wooden gate. The bandits on the walls have a cover bonus to all defenses.

Rubble: Although climbable, the rubble is both difficult terrain and has the normal climb penalties.

Sirrah readies his bow and nocks an arrow. Uttering a war chant to his ancestors, he lets the shaft fly towards the bandit on the wall.
