Interesting background info, evolved from pacifist monk, debated between monk/cleric/paladin.

Absorb damage for allies.

Heal up to half health automatically.

Capstone Sanctuaryesque permanently.

One of my favorite subclasses in UA. Lots of flavor, fluff and challenging roleplay opportunities. Hope they fixed some of the quirky MADness of the class. It's refreshing to play a class like this when everyone else is playing the chaotic neutral asshat or emo edgelord lol.

despite not being a fan of pathfinders mechanics, the world they made and the lore behind their gods and goddesses is stunning. This would be amazing for a paladin of sheyln or daleyndra.

I'm a little sad that it sounds like we won't get the Tranquility monk, but the Redemption Paladin had some really fascinating possibilities that I would love to explore.

Definitely helps with playing the Paladin in a different way than normal

I couldn't agree more with you, Geeknamese. I just hit level 3 in Adventurer's League (where everyone seems to be verging on murderhoboism) and the challenge of not falling down that hole is daunting at times. Since everyone is so damaged oriented, my character is more of a heavily armored protector/healer. I might MC into Divine Soul Sorcerer later down the line.
