Odyssey of the Dragonlords is an epic fantasy campaign for the fifth edition of the world’s greatest roleplaying game. The Player’s Guide is a 28-page companion booklet that will provide you with everything you need to begin your career as a prospective hero in the forgotten land of Thylea.

Inspired by ancient Greek mythology, Thylea is a brand new campaign setting—a lost continent that can be seamlessly added to any existing campaign setting.
The World of Thylea. Includes an overview of the history, factions, kingdoms, and laws of the forgotten continent. Learn about the gods, the titans, and the legendary Dragonlords.

Class Backstories. Includes guidance on the character creation process, including potential names and suggested backstories for each of the core player classes.
New Player Races. Includes rules for two new player races native to the forests and the northern steppes: the Thylean Centaur and the Thylean Satyr.

Choose Your Epic Path. Includes six epic paths for players to choose from. Epic paths provide powerful motivations for your hero, making you a central part of the story.

Note: The Odyssey of the Dragonlords campaign book has not yet been released. The expected launch date is sometime in May 2019.

Yesterday, Modiphius announced its partnership with BioWare's James Ohlen, Jesse Sky and Drew Karpyshyn:

The centaur seems potentially OP, especially since it’s Large. The satyr, in contrast, seems underpowered.

Curious to know why you think being large is OP? And before you mention the double damage over-sized weapons mentioned in the DMG, I would take into account that centaurs have a human-sized torso and arms, and hence shouldn't be able to wield such weapons.

It’s not just the Large size, although you’ll notice that WotC avoids allowing Large PC races like the plague. It’s the overall package, including the 50’ base movement speed.

Also, while they might have a human-sized torso, there is nothing in the write-up indicating that they are limited to Medium-sized weapons. That would probably be my first house-rule, were I to allow this race.

I would do the same - but would allow for double damage when charging with a lance or spear. :)

I got an email about this the other day, looking forward to the full realise. Like pukunui, I think the satyr needed something else, just one more decent ability I think would balance it out.

Along with StephenFry's excellently accessible Mythos book (which details all the Greek myths in a very friendly and easy to read way), it's a pretty good option for those wanting to shift a bit from the pseudo-medieval standard of most fantasy games. Very rich opportunities for adventure.

Loved "Mythos" as well (got the audiobook read by Fry himself). His follow-up book "Heroes" is also enjoyable but didn't grab me quite as much. Seems like there is a third book in the works covering the Trojan Wars, etc.

Kobold's centaur is large buy treated as medium for weapons.

There really should be a size between large and medium, say big. They kind of do that with races like Goliths, Bugbears, Firbolgs, Ravnican Centaurs, but a trait like that shouldn't be needed, it's existance shows a major gap in the size choice, Big. It should go Tiny, Short (Gnomes, Kobolds, Halflings, Kinder,
ect...), Medium (Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Tieflings, Aasimar, Warforged, Changelings, Genasi, ect...), Big (Goliaths, Firbolgs, Bugbears, Centaurs, Horses, Dire Wolves, Sabretooth tiger, Pegasi, ect...), large (Orges, Trolls, ect...), Huge, Guaguanan.

This would help with soooo many issues.
