With the tactical situation as it is, Lilli decides that the Vision's of Bloody Meat has nearly run it's course for the diners and decides to try a different course. Raising her crystal orb towards the central Gargoyle, she latches onto the wave of psychic feedback emanating from the beast. Suddenly, the meat in the Gargoyle's mouth sprouts strange metallic twisting mushrooms that drive themselves down into the monster's gullet, whilst simultaneously lashing out with thorny stems towards the other adjacent grotesques.

As the gargoyles start to crack up, Lilli rises her orb to her eye and looks towards the floating horror; with a practiced command, the Beholder's image is captured in the crystal for later mischief.

Seeing that Lerrick isn't quite unscathed and still thinking ahead, Lilli unleashes her bardic charm to help heal herself or an ally later, should the situation warrant it.

[sblock=actions]Standard Action: Lilli uses Nightmare Eruption to target Gargoyle 1, which is granting combat advantage (+2, added) to Lilli from the effect of Phantom Echoes feat in the last turn - Total to Hit = 28, Damage is 12.

G2, G3 and G4 are currently enemies adjacent to the target, so take 6 Psychic damage.

This will probably destroy G2 and has a slim chance of also destroying G4.

Gargoyle 1 is now subject to:

Phantom Echoes: When you use an arcane illusion power and hit a target, you gain combat advantage against that target until the end of your next turn. If the illusion power has an effect that a save can end, you instead gain combat advantage against the target until it saves against that effect.

Nightmare Eruption (At Will Standard Ranged 10 ✦ Arcane, Illusion, Implement, Psychic)

Move Action as a Minor action: Lilli uses her Orb of Far Seeing +2 Encounter power on the Beholder.

Power (Encounter): Minor Action. Choose a target within 10 squares of you. Until the end of the encounter, this target is considered half as far away for the purpose of ranged attacks made with this orb..

Minor Action: Lilli activates Skald's Aura (Everyone take note!).

Effect: You activate an Aura 5 that lasts until the end of the encounter. If the Aura ends prematurely for any reason, you can reactivate it during the encounter as a Minor Action. Once per encounter, you or any ally in the Aura can use a Minor Action to spend a healing Surge and regain [2d6] additional Hit Points. Alternatively, you or any ally can use a Minor Action to allow an adjacent ally to spend a healing surge and regain the additional [2d6] hit points.




G1 and G3's saving throws against being Immobilised (from a previous turn) are penalised due to Feat:

Lotte, Lilli's familiar in Passive mode, grants : Enemies take a -1 penalty to saving throws against your arcane powers that immobilise or slow them.

End of Turn: Lilli's Visions of Avarice zone ends and I have removed it from the map in D27. She didn't need to use the Secondary Attack and it is expended.[/sblock]

[Sblock=OOC]I'm going to take Neil's advice and use Illarion's AP bonus. Illarion's AP bonus effect (1d6=4)

I'll update my previous post with the rolls and effects.

Edit: previous post updated. Beholder grants CA TENT Illarion. That also means Vermitrax's sword's attack hits AC 20, in case it matters.[/sblock]

GM: The gargoyle doesn't take damage entering Illarion's effect from your push. However, it will take damage from starting its turn next to him.


Yes, gargoyle will take the damage on entering the square. The power was so badly written initially that you could slide people around and each time they would enter the square adjacent they would take damage. It was later changed to once per round, but it is still enter or start.

Effect: Until the start of Illarion's next turn, any enemy that enters a square adjacent to Illarion or starts it's turn there takes 1d6+9 fire damage
 

OOC: No, it was changed to ONCE PER TURN. The difference being that it will take the damage again on its own turn (starting turn in the square) and wherever anyone slides it on their own turn. It is still very strong power. Assuming [MENTION=100292]Neil1889[/MENTION] / Lilli moves all of them around, they would take damage for example.

Lilli's psychic onslaught is too much, the most susceptible gargoyle to her illusion magic remains so. Her psychic attack removes any last life force from the stone and it crumbles into dust. The remaining creatures suffer the psychic energy and look close to bursting themselves. Unfortunately for them, they are currently on fire.

GM: Gargoyle G1 dies. The extra damage isn't enough to kill the gargoyles, yet...

True to her word, Mikara is not about to let fire steal her kill.
