Round 1 Summary
-Shocker Lizard fires an electrical shock at Xir who manages to avoid most of the bolt by flattening himself against the wall. (Xir takes 2 points of Non-lethal damage)
-Abdul moves forward past Eleria and Elthic to the spot Xir is vacating. Casting Acid Splash, the corrosive green liquid shoots forward to burn the creature some.
-Xir takes off improbably along the door and inside wall with an acrobatic flourish, trying to maneuver around the creature before striking at it from behind. Moving to near the creature, it reaches out to bite at the Xeph as he goes by, but misses. As he lands behind it, he swings and barely connects, but his strike is weak due to poor footing as he stops moving.
-Elthic grunts, and throws a dagger from his belt at the creature. When the dagger hits the wall and makes a lot of noise, Elthic curses and gets his Spear ready.
-Eleria moves past Elthic and Abdul and takes advantage of Xir’s distraction on one side to move to the creatures flank without drawing an attack. Lunging at it with her rapier, her attack misses as the quick creature dodges away from her weapon.

Round 2- Order of battle and conditions
-Shocker Lizard (3+2= 5 damage)
-Abdul (AC:12, HP:5/5) -1 Dex, >has 6 healing potions
-Xir (AC: 19, HP:12/12, 2 points of non-lethal damage) -1 Str, >has 4 potions of healing
-Elthic (AC:15, HP: 6/9), >has 4 healing potions
-Eleria (AC: 16, HP: 7/7) >has 3 healing potions

Round 2- Reacting quickly to the new situation, the lizard hops between Xir and Eleria so quickly that they can’t react. (5’ step, so no AoO.) Shaking slightly as another electric charge builds up, the charge arcs towards Xir once again. (Ref save again for Xir vs. 9 points of non-lethal damage. Make the save and take 4, or fail and take 9.)

Eleria tries to get into a position behind the creature to flank it, but once again misses with her rapier attack. Even if she has no success hitting it herself, she can at least make it easier for one of her comrades.

Round 2 Summary
-Reacting quickly to the new situation, the lizard hops between Xir and Eleria so quickly that they can’t react. (5’ step, so no AoO.) Shaking slightly as another electric charge builds up, the charge arcs towards Xir once again. Xir manages to avoid a direct blast again and only feels himself go a little bit more numb. (4 points non-lethal damage.)
-Abdul casts again and the splash of acid burns the creature slightly.
-Xir steps up to the lizard and swings at it again. His strike is off the mark however, and he misses.
-Elthic tries to move quickly to set up a flanking position with Xir, hoping to stay out of the Lizard's reach. He does so admirably, and stabs his spear deeply into the creature. He grins, and his arms tremor a bit as a jolt of electricity runs up the spear's haft. The creature drops to the floor bleeding at the dwarf’s feet.
-Eleria stabs the unmoving creature with her rapier, causing it to convulse one last time before expiring.

End of Combat Conditions
-Shocker Lizard (3+2+2+7= 14 damage)
-Abdul (AC:12, HP:5/5) -1 Dex, >has 6 healing potions
-Xir (AC: 19, HP:12/12, 6 points of non-lethal damage) -1 Str, >has 4 potions of healing

Looking around the room, you first notice the mess that has been made by the creature. This laboratory has seen better days. Broken glass litters the floor around the table along with a mixture of fluids formerly contained within the vials and glass jars. Piles of strange ingredients lay spilled out or their containers and trampled over. The bookshelf holds a few books upon its higher shelves, but everything on the lower shelves has been knocked off and most are gnawed upon. The two windows let a scant amount of light into the room. The large cylindrical grey object in the northwest wall appears to be a hollow metal structure, perhaps a water tank that feeds the kitchen below. There is a door in the southwestern wall.

OOC: Congrats! Each character gains 150 XP for defeating the Shocker Lizard!

On a side note, I'd like to apoligize for my delay over the last few days. Monday was very busy at work and I didn't get a chance to post. Yesterday I had car problems and didn't go to work. I spent the morning trying to get the car to start, and the afternoon at the mechanics getting the problem fixed permanently. Hopefully, things are settled down now and we'll be back to normal posting till the holidays at least.
