NOW LIVE! -- One-Page Adventures for D&D 5th Edition on Kickstarter! A booklet of colourful one-page adventures for D&D 5th Edition ranging from levels 1-9 and designed for a single session of play.
I am so pumped for this. I just started reading through the 5e version of Sunless Citadel and am adapting it for Savage Worlds. I actually love the system. It’s definitely more cinematic than D&D.
I have a couple players willing to give me two sessions to try it out. Hopefully they like it...
My one buddy has been asking me to run 4e for a couple months now. We have been playing 5e for a couple years now.
I have REALLY been wanting to go back to 2e or some OSR clone personally. I might meet him in the middle somewhere and run an Essentials 4e game for him and a couple buddies. I...
The only thing so far that is kinda goofy (not in a bad way) to me is the Kobolds in a Trench Coat. You have to have a LITTLE comedy in horror. Especially if you are running a huge campaign book like this. I am still waiting on what their idea of “modern horror” is.
Can’t wait to read the monster stat blocks for the new butterfly collecting orc king and the Drow paperboy. Why can’t we have clearly evil monsters who do clearly evil things? Adventuring parties are typically super diverse heroes who run through dungeons looking for evil dragons to slay.
I have two players that I could run through this. I wonder if it would be better to replace the ogre for another creature or two, or just lower its damage.
Starting up Curse of Strahd soon. Anyone know of a way to get digital copies of the Death House maps without all the numbers, secret door S's and trap Xs?
I want to load the maps up on my IPad using the virtual tabletop app, but would like to keep the players surprised.
