The Funeral (Stonegood judging) [finished]

(OOC: So there's nine guys all on Siobhan--zounds! Total defense time--hopefully that will help)

*It is all that Siobhan can do to avoid being skewered by the many attackers as she tries to take a small step towards the edge of the boat closest to brother, hoping to be less flanked there.*

Niccolo - human male swashbuckler

"I have no quarrel with you," Niccolo says to the half-orc, "But I am afraid we must have that crystal -- you have no idea what trouble it's going to bring on you, even if you get away from here. Stand aside!"

He pauses a moment to see if the man will do so, and if not, attacks him with his rapier.

Niccolo’s appeal to reason are lost on the half orc, who shrugs the fencer’s rapier wound and hit him with his shoulder. Despite the momentum behind the blow, Niccolo manages to stay on the boat. Meanwhile the other half orc has taken the place of the woman, who scurries away and looks around desperate at the end of the barg she’s in. Stulgar takes a heavy blow from the half orc’s blade.

Meanwhile the warforged continue their relentless advance and threaten to overrun Lormand’s position. One of his men is downed, the others do what they can to repel them. Ceshil casts again a spell and jumps towards your positions, ending not too far away from Orerreth.

[ooc: Niccolo attacks and hits thanks to the Heroism spell, dealing 9 damage.
Raven moves north and drinks her potion.
I made the Balance check for Siobhan (see former posts). She passes it and full defends, shifting her position.
The warforged continue their advance, some of them jumping into the water. One warforged downs one of Lormand’s men. Ceshil casts (again) Expeditious retreat and darts towards your position.
The woman Withdraws from Stulgar.
The half orc Niccolo wounded tries to Bull rush him. Niccolo fails his AoO, but wins the Str check.
The other half orcs attacks Stulgar, wounding him (13 damage)

(OOC : back from france. You guys need any help from the elven warrior who just woke up and went down to the docks to see if his mates were having fun? )

Raven will then drink her displacement potion, and move back into the fray, trying to cut off the woman's retreat. She'll draw her sword again as she moves.

Niccolo steps sideways, to attempt to put the half-orc between him and any spells the woman might cast, and then resumes his attack.

Stulgar unleashes to attacks on the opponent that has closed with him

OOC: 2 because of haste. Stulgar's Round 3 attacks (1d20+8=19, 1d8+5=12, 1d20+8=26, 1d8+5=9) Action point on the first swing, Action point (1d6=1)

Stulgar unleashes his fury on the half orc that wounded him in a series of brutal axe strokes that leave his armor dented and him reeling. Looks like he’s seriously wounded, but keeps going. Niccolo dispatches his own half orc with a quick flaming rapier thrust, opening a way for Raven, who closes on the woman.

Latharion finally managed to find where everyone went and appears at the eastern pier. All he can see is a lonely Cannith swordman guarding a chest (not the kind between the neck and the stomach)

Orerreth moves to engage Ceshil, while Lormand’s men do their best to delay the warforged rush.

[ooc: Latharion arrived this turn at a random location, and will be able to act from the next round on. Niccolo and Raven acted this turn, but I’m still waiting for Siobhan’s actions.
