Does it have all the made-up D&D armours (studded leather, splintmail, bandmail)? :p

Edit: A wordsearch on the doc was informative. Apparently 'banded mail' actually is both banded and mail, being a chainmail variant with reinforcing horizontal strips within the mail rings. Splinted is vertical strips of brigandine.

As a note, I think Gutenberg is a great web resource, but I'd also recommend checking out Gutenberg Australia; because the copyright laws there are different, it has a number of works that aren't on the American Gutenberg site (and vice versa).

EDIT: Ooh! Looks like there's also a Gutenberg Canada! Nice!

I note with amusement that while the book describes weapons briefly, there is no excessivly long list of polearms.

Simon, didn't you have a copy of the DM Log from BITD?---it contained very useful illustrations of armor types (as well as polearms and barding too ;) ):
