Anyone remember The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin I loved the show and always thought it could make a good campaign setting.

But how would you do it?

For starters what races and classes fit?

Smurfs actually work ok in D&D if you treat them with a little spin

The Smurfs are actually LN outsiders from Mechanon -- hence the hive mind culture.

The have invavded a low magic kingdom and no one had paid any attention to them except the Alchemist Gargamel (CN)

The only problem is that Gargamel (Hu Wiz12 CN) is a little, odd and no one believes him

Its up to the party (all non spell users) Gragamel and his familiar Azrael to put an end to the Smurf menace once and for all

As for Teddy Ruxpin? Not a clue.

That was a creat show. My guess would be to use the NPC classes and create the races from scratch ...

Well, you have to use Savage Species, to build a human child. Then, you give him the power "neglected by parents, they have no time for him, so give him this bear to read to him".

After tha, play it by ear.
