Round 2

OOC: Even if Magdalena Dodged, you still have Advantage on her because she’s blind, so straight roll.

“Helm!” Magdalena exclaimed as something latched onto her calf through her chainmail. She kicked out to get free and quickly lit her torch. Now she could see the large serpents!

Gorir, hearing the scraping of chairs, curses under his breath, all the while moving to the door. He pulls his shield in tight and raises his hammer, ready to swing at the first thing that comes through.

James moves back to await the greater threat of three goblins moving quickly towards this chamber, as Gorir stands besides the closed door with his hammer at the ready. As the first goblin throws open the door, the dwarf swings his mighty warhammer at its head, stopping the charge.

Meanwhile Magdalena lights her torch and sees two large brown snakes just in front of her, Thadius' mace swinging just before her but missing the serpent that had obviously just bitten her leg. That creature, its attention still on the paladin, swiftly snaps its jaws towards Magdalena, again biting her leg. She feels a bit faint from the repeated attacks, and hearing the goblins enter is not helping!

The other serpent is just a few feet away, its upper body rising from the floor, and with a sudden motion the snake spits a green gob of spit in Thadius' direction, who easily avoids the poisonous stuff.

OOC: Please make that readied attack for Gorir. The goblins have come to the door but do not move further until their next turn.
Snake 1 attacks Thadius with spit: [roll0] (miss) for 1 poison damage and the poisoned condition on a failed DC10 Con save
Snake 2 attacks Magdalena with bite: [roll1] (hit) for [roll2] damage

OOC: Oh, I see I've placed Gorir on the wrong side of the door. Sorry about that. In that case, Gorir is at AF-4, Traubon on AE-4, goblin 1 at AF-5, and James on AF-7. So almost a mirror image of what I put in the map. I'll change that momentarily.

Edit: Here's the updated map:

OOC: Still waiting on Gorir's readied attack, and his actions for this round. Also Magdalena's actions (with Guidance).
FYI, James' first attack hits the goblin, dealing a good (but not lethal) blow, his second attack misses. Depending on Gorir's readied attack, the goblin may or may not be down. Thadius misses.

Gorir,

The stunty goblin proved too nimble for Gorir's first attack but Gorir followed up with a blow that leaves the creature in a broken heap.
